Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Tasteful Touches!

Hey there! Last Sunday was our first Sunday back at church and baby Fiona's first Sunday ever! This Sunday should feel more normal, although I hope I never lose that feeling of great joy to be back in the Lord's House!

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Emboss Resist!

Hey there! Welcome back today for another card idea with the In Good Taste Suite! Tasteful Touches is fast becoming one of my favorites from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog! I had fun creating this emboss resist birthday card using Tasteful Touches and the Tasteful Labels dies!

Emboss Resist is a technique I've always done with glossy card stock, but we don't carry that in the catalog anymore, so I tried it with regular Whisper White and it worked fine!

I cut the greeting with a Tasteful Labels die:

And added Misty Moonlight 1/4" In Color Ribbon to coordinate with the Night of Navy.

The bow was pretty easy. I tied it in the middle of the ribbon before wrapping it around the layer.

Inside I used a phrase from So Sentimental.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink Tasteful Touches!

Hey there! I had an assignment to create samples for an event called "Vacation Stamping School", so I have played with the In Good Taste Suite during my preparations. The cards I posted last week with the In Color Tasteful Touches Craft Ink Wash Technique were part of my stamping binge. You can find those cards HERE.

My card for today also features the In Good Taste Designer Series paper and the Ornate Borders Dies:

My color palette consists of Petal Pink, Early Espresso, and Whisper White. I cut the greeting layer with a Tasteful Labels Die and added a bow created with 1/4" Faux Suede Trim.

I'm really happy with the look of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper peeking through the Ornate Border die-cut edge! The card front has also been embossed with the new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder inked with White Craft ink.

Of course I have to show you the inside too!
