Stampin’ Up! Masculine Mountain Air!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the card I created for my monthly mail-in swap. One of our choices for this month was to make a masculine birthday card, so I used the Mountain Air and Stacked Stone stamp sets with sentiments from Sweet Strawberry to create this:

After I decided the stamp set I wanted to use, then I looked through the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack and chose this textile design that is sort of Night of Navy but almost Basic Black or Basic Gray. I decided to use Basic Gray card stock and ink and Smoky Slate card stock for the Neutral to stamp the focal image and inside layer.

I cut the focal image layer with a Seasonal Labels die, as well as the Stacked Stone-stamped layer underneath it. I stamped the mountains first with Basic Gray, cleaned the stamp, then stamped just the tops of the mountains with White Craft Ink. I stamped the moon with White Craft as well, then added sparkle with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. The greeting is from Sweet Strawberry.

Inside I repeated the same stamping process for the mountains and moon, then stamped the sentiment from Sweet Strawberry, omitting the rest of the words, "you sweet thing" by cleaning off the ink with a baby wipe before stamping.

Stampin’ Up! Hats Off for Father’s Day!

Hey there! Today I have another card created with the Hats Off Bundle. I created this one with my husband in mind for Father's Day.

I used a color combo of Sahara Sand and Evening Evergreen, which are the perfect colors for my farmer hubby! I embossed the Evening Evergreen layer with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder for some background interest. I stamped "DAD" on a separate Sahara Sand scrap and cut it out with the coordinating Hat Builder Die.

Inside I decided to use Sahara Sand for my sentiment layer, stamping "You're The Best" from the Hats Off set with Evening Evergreen ink. I added the mountain/evergreens motif at the bottom with Evening Evergreen ink.

I used the mountains/evergreens again on the envelope flap and front bottom left corner.

This was such a quick but satisfying card to make!

Stampin’ Up! Hats Off for a Baby Boy!

Hey there! I think I am finally recovered from the big Father's Day celebration we had here on Sunday! I worked all day Saturday getting the house ready. As a paper crafter, I tend to have a lot of my supplies out where I can SEE them and FIND them, which sometimes means I do have messes to clean up! I also have been working on Vacation Bible School Crafts, so I also had those supplies to pack up to make room for the 26 members of our family to be together! It has taken me about two sleeps to recover! lol!

Today I have a simple card I created to go with a baby boy gift for a friend at church. I used the Hats Off Bundle and a simple color combo of Basic White and Balmy Blue.

I stamped the hat and the emblem with Misty Moonlight ink. After cutting out the hat with a Hat Builder Die, I mounted it on the Balmy Blue layer that I had embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. Hats off doesn't have any baby-specific greetings, but this little guy has two big sisters waiting for his arrival, so "Life is Great" seemed appropriate, which is included in the set.

Inside I stamped "Here's to the Next Adventure", which is also included in Hats Off and just felt right for this card.

Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink!

Hey there! Today I have a card to share that I created with A Touch of Ink Sale-a-bration stamps!

It's actually much easier than it looks! I stamped the images on one complete strip and then cut it into three equal sections. I started with a 2 1/4" x 5" Basic White Strip, stamped all of the images with Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green inks, then cut three sections each 2 1/4" x 1 5/8". The Basic Black mats behind the images are 2 3/8" x 1 3/4". I popped up each section with Stampin' Dimensionals over an Coastal Cabana layer embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

The greeting is from Many Messages, cut with the Messages Die. I added Elegant Faceted Gems to each end.

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Place Merry Moose!

Hey there! Today I have a Merry Moose card to share with you created with a Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper background. Poinsettia Place is another one of the Designer Series Papers on sale this month for 15% off!

After I adhered the Poinsettia Place strips to a layer of Early Espresso, I ran all of it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing Folder.

After I punched out the moose from Early Espresso card stock with the Merry Moose Punch, I added a greeting strip stamped with a Merry Moose phrase with Early Espresso ink. After I punched the strip on both ends with the Banners Pick-a-Punch, I stamped the top of one of the pine trees from Merry Moose with Garden Green, wrapped a bit of Gray Granite ribbon, and added a Gilded Gem.

The inside sentiment is also found in the Merry Moose stamp set. I love the scarf image included in the set!

Dimensions:

Early Espresso layer: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" – need two to punch moose: 2 1/2" x 2"

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stepped-Up!

Hey there! As promised, today I have another Celebrate Sunflowers card, this time stepped-up with ribbon, an embossing folder, In Good Taste and Flowers For Every Season designer paper, and more layers! Yesterday's card just "grew up" a little! lol!

I still stamped the sunflower directly on the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, but cut down the layer closer to the bloom and added a bow tied with Cinnamon Cider Ribbon using a glue dot.

A Bumblebee-color In Color Enamel Dot adds another pop of color. They are soooo easy to add with a Take Your Pick tool! I added dimension to the Cinnamon Cider background layer with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

Inside I used In Color Stampin' Write Markers to color the small blooms before stamping in the corners.

Small touches make a big difference between yesterday's card (which I love) and today's (which I love more!)
