Stampin’ Up! Pun Intended Camera!

Hey there! Yesterday I played with the Pun Intended stamp set again, this time using the camera and the "photographic phrases" in the set. I combined it again with the sunburst from Kinda Eclectic to create this:

The sunburst image from Kinda Eclectic works for so many themes! If you don't own Kinda Eclectic, you NEED to order it!

I peeled the backing from the Silver Glimmer paper to make it easier to adhere to the card for the background, and added a rhinestone to the camera lens for more bling!

The "news flash" greeting will just fit in the Classic Label Punch!

I added the "HAVE A" from Thoughtful Banners to the "PICTURE PERFECT" "SNAPPY BIRTHDAY", both from Pun Intended.

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love Window Card!

Hey there! Yesterday I spent a lovely afternoon at Jessica's house, swimming in her pool and hanging out with my kids and grand-kids! Even though I have a "to do" list that seems a mile long, sometimes I just have to take a day and enjoy the blessings the Lord has given me!

Today's card I created with the "window" fold I'm really fond of right now, with the Jar of Love set!

I used Crumb Cake for the base, much of the stamping, and the envelope.

Scenic Scenery Designer Paper provides a rustic look for the vintage jar.

I stamped the fireflies with Sahara Sand, then used a Blender Pen to add the glow with Daffodil Delight ink.

I punched with the Duet Banner Punch and added a bit of burlap ribbon.

This fold looks hard, but it's actually very simple!

I added Flourishing Phrases sentiments that coordinated perfectly with the firefly theme.

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love Window Card!

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love Strawberries!

Hey there! Today I have the final July Online Class card with Jar of Love and Fresh Fruit!

I utilized masking and brayering on the background, added half a Delicate White Doily, and cut Fruit Stand Designer Paper with an Everyday Jars framelit.

I cut a window sheet with the same framelit, glue-dotting together before adding a silver-embossed jar lid and tying Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine.

You can emboss on Window Sheets! Rub with the embossing buddy before stamping, taking care not to hold the Heat Tool too close or too long.

I cut the Sahara Sand "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" with a Bunch of Banners Framelit

Inside I masked and brayered again, and added more Fresh Fruit images.

Stampin’ Up! Fresh Fruit Peaches!

Hey there! I just have to gush a little about my oldest grandson, Cohen. He's played on an excellent ball team this year, but last night was the first time Mark & I had a chance to see him play. He did well and his team won the tournament. I captured this picture of his last at bat of the season with my phone:

You usually hear about Liam & Darcy, but I have 8 grand-kids, and #9 is due in September!

Today I have a Fresh Fruit card created with the "orange peel" embossing technique! The peach is stamped with Peekaboo Peach, Tangerine Tango, and Pear Pizzazz!

Funny story about "pear pizzazz". The cover to the "z" key on my laptop is missing. Apparently Lando (age 18 months) opened it after I went to bed, banged it with my stapler and sent 7 or 8 keys flying. His parents were able to find all but the "z", which isn't a big deal until you type all of the "z's" in "pear pizzazz"! Just another joy of being a grammie! (and yes, lesson learned; my laptop will go to my room with me from now on!)

To get the Orange Peel look, I inked the peach with Peekaboo Peach, then added Tangerine Tango with a sponge dauber. I lightly misted with water before stamping on Watercolor Paper. I added water-misted Pear Pizzazz leaves, then misted it all with more water. I sprinkled Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, then blasted with my Heat Tool. It takes a little longer, but you get this lovely bumpily texture!

Inside I stamped more peaches, using the Post-it Note masking technique to add depth.

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love!

Hey there! Today's card is completely flat, no layers at all. All of the "layering" is done with Post-it Notes while stamping!

I stamped the center canning jar first, using the matching Everyday Jars Fremelit to cut out a mask with the jar top on the sticky Post-it note top. I covered the center stamped jar with the mask, stamping the largest jar to the left and the smallest jar to the right. I cut out masks for these jars from Post-its with Everyday Jars framelits too. I covered all three jars with masks, stamping the "table" with the Hardwood background and Sahara Sand ink.

Jar of Love includes a "water" image to fill each jar. I cut out a jar lid with an Everyday Jars Framelit to cover the jar rim before stamping the flower stems. Jar of love also contains the words "Love", "Friend", "Hello", and "Thanks" in traditional canning jar font, as well as 9 other phrases. There's a total of 37 stamps in this set!

To tie Crushed Curry Baker's Twine around the jar I pierced holes with a Paper-piercing Tool, then used a dental floss threader to pull the twine through.

Stampin’ Up! Fresh Fruit Strawberries!

Hey there! I created today's Fresh Fruit card with the strawberry! yay!

The Petal Burst-embossed white contrasts great with the Early Espresso base and bright Real Red strawberries!

After stamping the strawberries with Real Red around "LOVE YOU MORE" and outlining with Early Espresso (Fresh Fruit is a 2-step stamping set) I cut them with a Layering Circles Framelit, leaving the left edge straight.

I trimmed the edge of the scallop circle even with the edge of the strawberry circle.

An Early Espresso banner from the Banner Triple Punch,, 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, and a Classy Designer Button tied with burlap ribbon threads.

"LOVE YOU MORE" than . . . chocolate? grilled cheese? sunsets? YOU fill in the blank!

I decorated my first kitchen with strawberries and red gingham curtains. I still love both!
