Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day!

Hey there! We are having Liam's 4th birthday party at our house today, which means all of the family will be here! yay!

Today I have some fun swaps to share with you!

First, Bella & Friends created by Janace Charbonneau.

Janace used Stampin' Write Markers for her coloring medium.

Next, Marsha LaPointe combined Confetti Celebration with Swirly Scribbles Thinlets, adding a few White Perfect Accents!

She used Foam Adhesive Strips to firmly support to the layers, maintaining the depth between the Dapper Denim swirls and the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Gift Card Envelope Pirate Ship!

Hey there! I try to make a special card for each of my grandchildren's birthdays, so when Oakley had his 3rd birthday, I made his card to match his party plates!

The plate:

I used the Gift Card Envelope and Trims Die to make the body of the ship:

I cut off one long and one short side of the envelope for the two ship levels:

I embossed with the Woodgrain folder for texture:

I created the skull and cross bones with the Owl Builder Punch and some thin hand-cut strips.

I made matching gift cards for Logan and Ben to give him money:

Stampin’ Up! My Hero!

Hey there! I have a short post this morning, but I will have another at 4 p.m. today when the Mediterranean Achiever's Blog Hop starts hopping! Our theme this month is the Limited Edition set, Thoughtful Branches!

Right now I have a super easy card created for a hostess who asked for cards without the Big Shot. Most of my cards use something Big Shot – an embossing folder, or a greeting cut with a framelit – but I went "old school"to make card with the My Hero Ronald McDonald House set:

My Hero is a collection of cute stamps for several holidays of the year, and Stampin' Up! will donate $3 from each one sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charities! I used Dapper Denim, Whisper White, and Silver Glimmer paper for sparkle. The Dapper Denim striped paper from the 2016-2018 In Color Designer Paper Stack coordinates perfectly.

I punched the "You Are My #1 HERO" with the Best Badge Punch.

My camera is an older point-and-shoot, and I think I've about worn it out. This is the only picture I have of this card!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Cupcake in the Window!

Hey there! The Sweet Cupcake stamps and Cupcake Cutouts Framelits are bundled together in the catalog. I used them yesterday to create this card for my Stamp Camp at Donna's house tonight!

I used Flirty Flamingo for the card base, adding a layer of striped Irresistibly Floral Specialty paper brayered with Watermelon Wonder ink. I used Layering Squares Framelits to cut the window through the two front layers.

I cut the banner greeting with the Gift Card Envelope & Trims framelit, and cut the "sweet" from Watermelon Wonder with a Cupcake Cutout die and my Precision Base Plate.

There are three stamps each for the cupcake liner and the frosting. I stamped the liner first with stamped-off Crumb Cake, then with full-strength Crumb Cake, then with Chocolate Chip. For the frosting I stamped first with Blushing Bride, then Flirty Flamingo, then Watermelon Wonder. I added Clear Wink of Stella Glitter highlights and a single rhinestone.

Inside I stamped the 5 1/4" x 6" Whisper White pull-out layer with the birthday candle stamps and sentiments from Sweet Cupcake.

Stampin’ Up! Swirly Bird Sails Away!

Hey there! Today I have another card we will be making at my Marion, IL stamp camp this Friday night. They requested a sailboat card with the Swirly Bird set:

I used a Dapper Denim, Real Red, and Whisper White color combo for a nautical/patriotic feel!

The Swirly Bird stamp set and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets contain just about everything you need to create a great card! I cut my circles with the Layering Circles Framelits, and added the Dapper Denim 3/8" Ruched Ribbon flag with my Handheld Stapler!

Added touches of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer "waves", a banner stamped with a Birthday Banners phrase and cut with a Bunch of Banners Framelit. and enamel stars from the 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes finish it off perfectly!

Inside another sailboat floating through splatter-stamped waters, which is another stamp from Swirly Bird, and the sentiment is from Birthday Banners!

Stampin’ Up! Pun Intended Camera!

Hey there! Yesterday I played with the Pun Intended stamp set again, this time using the camera and the "photographic phrases" in the set. I combined it again with the sunburst from Kinda Eclectic to create this:

The sunburst image from Kinda Eclectic works for so many themes! If you don't own Kinda Eclectic, you NEED to order it!

I peeled the backing from the Silver Glimmer paper to make it easier to adhere to the card for the background, and added a rhinestone to the camera lens for more bling!

The "news flash" greeting will just fit in the Classic Label Punch!

I added the "HAVE A" from Thoughtful Banners to the "PICTURE PERFECT" "SNAPPY BIRTHDAY", both from Pun Intended.
