Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical for VBS!

Hey there! I'm so glad that the pandemic restrictions are starting to relax, especially since that means we can now have Vacation Bible School! yay! I am the Crafts Director for almost 100 kids and I love to use my Stampin' Up! supplies for at least one of the daily projects. Last year our theme was going to be "Mystery Island" so I ordered the Timeless Tropical stamp set and the In The Tropics dies. Last year's VBS was cancelled, but they decided to do "Mystery Island" this year so I was ready!

We have found that the kids do better when they can wear their projects home, so we try to put everything on a string necklace, if possible. Today's project is a tropical-themed memory verse medallion:

I cut the pineapple from Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry card stock, then added a little sponging with Early Espresso ink. I used Garden Green and Early Espresso Stampin' Write Markers to ink palm trees before stamping on Crumb Cake. Everything, including the Memory Verse flower, were cut with In the Tropics dies.

I printed the Memory Verse with my computer, cut with the die, then stamped over it with the tropical flower using Flirty Flamingo ink. I adhered everything to a Coastal Cabana base layer that I embossed with the Bark 3D folder to resemble water waves.

I used my retired Crop-a-dile to punch the hold for the string, then added Flirty Flamingo reinforcements I cut with my new Tailor Made Tags dies.

Stampin’ Up! Pierced Blooms on a Brick Wall!

Hey there! Today I have another In Bloom/Pierced Blooms birthday card to share with you!

This time I used all of the New In Colors, with the exception of Evening Evergreen!

I stamped the greeting directly on the Crumb Cake layer before embossing with the Brick & Mortar folder. I added a bit of bling with Polished Pink In Color Jewels, which are off the back order list!

I embossed the inside Crumb Cake layer just for fun, and covered the envelope flap with Pansy Petals Designer Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms & Stitched Greenery Wedding Card!

Hey there! I needed to make a wedding card and the Stitched Greenery die was still on my craft table, so I combined it with the Forever Blossoms stamp set and an Ornate Frames die to come up with this:

I started with a base of Basic White Thick, then embossed a regular Basic White layer with the Stitched Greenery die. Before I adhered the layer to the card front, I wrapped a piece of Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon.

I stamped a greeting from Forever Blossoms with black ink, then cut with an Ornate Frames die. I adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals, then added three Pastel Pearls.

I embossed a white layer for the inside, then stamped a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" layer and matted with a 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" Pool Party layer.

I usually add a few more bells and whistles to wedding cards, but with the Stitched Greenery Die as the star of the show, nothing more was necessary!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach Fun Flap Fold!

Hey there! Today I have a fun card to share with you, created with an easy fun fold, the Sweet As A Peach Bundle, and the Stitched Greenery Die!

I ran both the white front layer and the 6" x 2" Pear Pizzazz flap fold strip through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss with the Stitched Greenery Die. The flap is scored at 2" so it will fold and adhere under the inside white layer, which is also cut with the Stitched Greenery Die. I used the same color combo of Pale Papaya and sponged Calypso Coral for the peach.

I stamped the peach branch on the inside but didn't add a sentiment so I can decide later if I will use it for a birthday, anniversary, thank-you, etc.

This card is a winner!

Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue Sweet As A Peach!

Hey there! Today I have another card created with the Sweet As a Peach Bundle, but there's not a single peach on it!

When I first opened the You're a Peach Designer Paper I matched up these prints and promised myself I would make a card with them!

Here's my card. I used the flowers in the Sweet As a Peach set instead of the peaches. There are Peach Dies that cut them out!

I centered each bloom with an Opal Round. They have just the right amount of subtle sparkle!

This tiny "hello" is included in the Sweet As a Peach set, along with the tiny flowers and the die to cut it out is in the Peach dies!

The inside sentiment is also from Sweet As a Peach!

I'm loving playing with this bundle!
