Stampin’ Up! Misty Butterfly Brilliance!

Hey there! Today I combined new Butterfly Brilliance stamps and dies with retiring Butterfly Wishes stamps to create this:

Using a monochromatic color combo of Misty Moonlight and Basic White, I stamped a Butterfly Brilliance butterfly with Misty Moonlight, cut with the largest Brilliant Wings die, then cut a vellum butterfly with a single Brilliant Wings die. I added a Seaside Spray Pastel Pearl to hide the glue dot I used to attach them together.

I embossed the Misty Moonlight layer with a Meadow Moments embossing folder (love the tiny embossed butterflies!) then added White Craft ink to highlight the embossing.

I breathed on the leftover Misty Moonlight ink on the image before stamping on the greeting strip. I stamped the Butterfly Wishes greeting with Misty Moonlight.

Inside I used another Butterfly Wishes sentiment. Sad to see Butterfly Wishes retire, but you can still order it today!

Dimensions for today's card:

Misty Moonlight base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Basic White front layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Misty Moonlight layer to emboss: 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Flowers For Every Season designer strip: 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"

Basic White greeting strip: 1" x 4 1/4

Basic White to stamp & cut butterfly: 2 1/2" x 3"

Vellum for butterfly: 2 1/2" x 3"

Basic White inside: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Stampin’ Up! Misty Butterfly Brilliance!

Hey there! Today I combined new Butterfly Brilliance stamps and dies with retiring Butterfly Wishes stamps to create this:

I embossed the Misty Moonlight layer with a Meadow Moments embossing folder (love the tiny embossed butterflies!) then added White Craft ink to highlight the embossing.

Stampin’ Up! Flower & Field Pretty Perennials!

Hey there! Today I have another card created with the Flower & Field Sale-a-bration 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper. This time I paired it with the Pretty Perennials stamp set to create a fast and easy birthday card:

This card is pretty straight-forward. I simply added 1 3/4" x 4" strips of Flower & Field Designer paper to the top and bottom of a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White panel, then stamped the greetings in the open space in the middle with Just Jade and Tuxedo Black ink.

I added a length of Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon tied in a knot and a few Matte Black Dots to complete the look.

Stampin’ Up! Ombre’ Art Gallery!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing two cards created with the Art Gallery Bundle and a simple ombre' stamping technique:

For my ombre' technique I chose three inkpads in gradually brighter tones to stamp the floral images.

Left to right: Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, and Poppy Parade. After stamping and mounting on a Basic Black mat, I adhered to a layer embossed with the Lace 3D folder.

I cut the Art Gallery greeting with a Floral Gallery die, then added a single Matte Black Dot for a pop of black!

The inside sentiment is also from Art Gallery.

For this one I started with a Coastal Cabana base embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D folder:

Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, and Bermuda Bay were my inks of choice:

I cut the Art Gallery greeting with another Floral Gallery Die and added another Matte Black Dot.

I love the simple, clean lines of the Art Gallery sentiments!

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Hill with the Tailored Tag!

Hey there! Today I have another Fancy Phrases/Hydrangea Hill creation to share with you, are you not surprised? My card today also features one of my favorite punches, the Tailored Tag!

To create the card front, I simply punched six of the Hydrangea Hill print repeatedly with the Tailored Tag Punch, laid them out in a pleasing design, then stamped and punched the greeting with Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered all of the tags with liquid glue so I would have a bit of "wiggle room" to adjust the spacing as I went along. I popped up the greeting tag with stampin' dimensionals, then added a single Rococo Rose Pastel Pearl. After I had all of the tags adhered, I then trimmed the edges flush with the Misty Moonlight layer using my Paper Snips. I used the pieces I trimmed off to fill in the partial tags along the ends.
