Stampin’ Up! Misty Butterfly Brilliance!

Hey there! Today I combined new Butterfly Brilliance stamps and dies with retiring Butterfly Wishes stamps to create this:

Using a monochromatic color combo of Misty Moonlight and Basic White, I stamped a Butterfly Brilliance butterfly with Misty Moonlight, cut with the largest Brilliant Wings die, then cut a vellum butterfly with a single Brilliant Wings die. I added a Seaside Spray Pastel Pearl to hide the glue dot I used to attach them together.

I embossed the Misty Moonlight layer with a Meadow Moments embossing folder (love the tiny embossed butterflies!) then added White Craft ink to highlight the embossing.

I breathed on the leftover Misty Moonlight ink on the image before stamping on the greeting strip. I stamped the Butterfly Wishes greeting with Misty Moonlight.

Inside I used another Butterfly Wishes sentiment. Sad to see Butterfly Wishes retire, but you can still order it today!

Dimensions for today's card:

Misty Moonlight base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Basic White front layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Misty Moonlight layer to emboss: 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Flowers For Every Season designer strip: 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"

Basic White greeting strip: 1" x 4 1/4

Basic White to stamp & cut butterfly: 2 1/2" x 3"

Vellum for butterfly: 2 1/2" x 3"

Basic White inside: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wishes for Cards in the Mail Class!

Hey there! Here's the third card for the Butterfly Wishes Cards in the Mail Class! Scroll down for class info!

I created a gatefold card with Butterfly Wishes, Greenery Embossing Folders, and Stitched Rectangle Dies:

I hand-cut the Rococo Rose blooms with Paper Snips and added Clear Wink of Stella to the centers. I used a Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker to omit "Birthday" from the "Birthday Wishes" image so I could just stamp "Wishes".

The inside sentiment and butterflies are all from Butterfly Wishes.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wishes Again!

Hey there! Today's card is the second card of my Butterfly Wishes Cards in the Mail Class. I created three cards with matching envelopes, all with Butterfly Wishes and Very Versailles! You'll see card #3 tomorrow. Today is also the first day you can order from the August-December Mini Catalog. Stampin' Up! has refreshed my Online Store! I just love the script stamp in Very Versailles, as well as the trailing vine! I stamped the script with Crumb Cake, stamped the Pear Pizzazz vine and Soft Suede branch, then sponged lightly with Crumb Cake for a vintage look. I stamped the blooms with Seaside Spray and hand-cut them out, adding Clear Wink of Stella to the centers.

After stamping the greeting with Soft Suede I added the adorable Seaside Spray Butterfly Gem.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wishes!

Hey there! We had a lovely day yesterday celebrating all of our August birthdays! The day was warm, not hot, with low humidity; perfect to sit outside, watch the kids play, and play games!

Tomorrow the Holiday Catalog goes live for customers, so while we're waiting I'm sharing this gorgeous card created with Butterfly Wishes and Very Versailles! Once I started working on this card I quickly was able to create two more that I'll be sharing with you tomorrow and the next day. After I post all three I'll give you the details of my very first Card Class in the Mail: Butterfly Wishes!

I inked the branch, leaves, and blooms with Stampin' Write markers, and stamped the greeting with Soft Suede ink.

The script from Very Versailles was stamped with stamped-off Crumb Cake ink. I added a Rococo Rose Butterfly Gem to finish it all off.

I inked the inside sentiment with markers and added the butterflies with Blushing Bride ink.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wishes!

Hey there! Today I have a clean-an-simple (for me) card with the new Butterfly Wishes set and the gorgeous Perennial Essence Designer Paper!

The Perennial Essence Designer Paper colors are Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, So Saffron, and Whisper White. Quite a long list, but I felt that none of those colors really do this print justice, so I pulled out my new Pretty Peacock card stock pack and ink pad and they matched perfect!

The butterfly images in this set are from the new patent-pending Distinktive line. Just look at the depth and detail of this butterfly, stamped with Pretty Peacock! After stamping the greeting with Blackberry Bliss and sponging the edges with Pretty Peacock, I added a single 2019/2021 In Color Faceted Dot. I love the color coordination Stampin' Up! provides!

I actually tried this combination too; stamping the butterfly with Blackberry Bliss and the greeting with Pretty Peacock. Which one do you like best?

Inside I used more Butterfly Wishes images and sentiments.

I used a sponge dauber to gently add just a touch of Pretty Peacock to the white layer.
