Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Hill with the Tailored Tag!

Hey there! Today I have another Fancy Phrases/Hydrangea Hill creation to share with you, are you not surprised? My card today also features one of my favorite punches, the Tailored Tag!

To create the card front, I simply punched six of the Hydrangea Hill print repeatedly with the Tailored Tag Punch, laid them out in a pleasing design, then stamped and punched the greeting with Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered all of the tags with liquid glue so I would have a bit of "wiggle room" to adjust the spacing as I went along. I popped up the greeting tag with stampin' dimensionals, then added a single Rococo Rose Pastel Pearl. After I had all of the tags adhered, I then trimmed the edges flush with the Misty Moonlight layer using my Paper Snips. I used the pieces I trimmed off to fill in the partial tags along the ends.

Stampin’ Up! Fancy Phrases Tag Topper!

Hey there! In today's card I finally used the punch that is bundled with the Fancy Phrases stamp set, the Fancy Tag Topper! I combined it with the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series paper again and modified the Triple Time technique:

I used three different prints from the Hydrangea Hill Designer. I stamped directly on the paper with Tuxedo Black ink and added three Gorgeous Grape Pastel Pearls (my online ordering gift this month when you spend at least $50!)

I punched the top of the 2" x 3 1/2" Hydrangea Hill strip with the Fancy Tag Topper, then tied about 5" of Gorgeous Grape 3/8" Sheer Ribbon in a simple knot.

I stamped everything in Tuxedo Black or Gorgeous Grape.

Dimensions:

Gorgeous Grape Card base: 5 ½” x 8 /12”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”

Gorgeous Grape Triple Time mat layers: 2 ¼” x 3 ½”, 3 ¼” x 4 ½”

Hydrangea Hill Triple Time layers: 2” x 3 1/2”, 3” x 4 ¼”, 4” x 5 ¼ inside strip: 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Basic White inside layer: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Hill Triple Time!

Hey there! Today I have more Triple Time cards to share; this time with the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper and Fancy Phrases!

These cards have minimal stamping; I let the Hydrangea Hill Designer paper do all of that work!

I used a Misty Moonlight card base for this one, punching the greeting with the Tailored Tag punch and tying a simple bow with about 16" of White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

I stamped-off the Misty Moonlight ink to add the little bloom spray behind the greeting. I used a Seaside Spray Pastel Pearl to accent.

Inside:

My second card has a Blackberry Bliss base and layers:

I tied Blackberry Bliss Ribbon in a knot, then trimmed the ends to create a "faux bow" look!

I added Gorgeous Grape Pastel Pearls to each end of the greeting.

I love this pretty Fancy Phrases sentiment!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents!

Hey there! Today I have a card I created with the Simply Succulents Bundle from the January-June Mini Catalog. Succulents are so pretty, and although I didn't use much of the succulents images on my card, rest assure I will be doing so soon!

Today I wanted to feature the large floral die from the Potted Succulents Dies on my card, so I layered it over a piece of Sale-a-abration Flower & Field Designer Series Paper:

I heat embossed the greeting and bloom from Simply Succulents, then cut it with another of the Potted Succulents Dies.

I tied on a bit of Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon for some sparkle.

The inside sentiment is another from the Simply Succulents stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink Hummingbird Pop-Up Fun Fold!

Hey there! Today I have another card created with the Sale-a-bration (choose free with a $100 order) stamp set, A Touch of Ink. This set is so pretty as well as versatile!

My card today is a pop-up fun fold with a Granny Apple Green/Gorgeous Grape color combo:

I stamped the hummingbird with Tuxedo Black ink, then added stamped-off Gorgeous Grape with the coordinating stamp. I used a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add Granny Apple Green ink refill for pops of color and shine. The double bow is tied with Gorgeous Grape 3/8" Sheer Ribbon. I tied ribbon around the card flap into a knot, leaving the tails long. Next I tied two 10" lengths of ribbon into a bow, tying the ribbon tails around the bow's knot. After a little adjustment and a glue dot under the knot it was perfect!

I love the Pastel Pearls!

I opted for a sentiment from So Sentimental on the inside:

Stampin’ Up! Oh Snap for Jaxon!

Today's card was created for my grandson Jaxon's 9th birthday. His birthday is December 26th, but with postponing our family Christmas we had to celebrate his birthday along with our family Christmas on New Year's Day. We compressed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Jaxon's birthday all into one day! It was exhausting but fun!

I used the new Oh Snap stamp set from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create Jaxon's card:

This set has so many cute images and words. I started with this "oh snap!" phrase,

which then coordinated with the "it's your birthday!" I colored the crocodile with my Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends.

Inside I used the same crocodile but paired it with more sentiments from the set.

Jaxon enjoyed his card much like any other 9 year-old would; he was more interested in the gift! But that's O.K. I don't need accolades from my grandchildren, I just want them to know how special they are to me. It's fun to hear the other ones saying "oooh, this card is from Grammie". I think everyone else enjoys the card as much or more than the birthday boy!
