Hey there! Just a quick post this morning to let you know that NEW items have been added to the Clearance Rack in my Online Store and to give you the project instructions sheet for this card I posted HERE.

Since I made and posted this card the Retiring Stamps & Accessories List was released and to my dismay the Starburst Framelits used on this card are on the list! I KNOW! They are retiring, so if you want them you'd better get to my Online Store TODAY and order them! The stamps will have guaranteed availability through May 25, but from May 26th on they will be while supplies last! The Retiring Accessories are while supplies last NOW!

I will be switching to FeedBlitz in the near future so I will have more control when my blog posts are delivered to you. You do not have to do anything to continue receiving my blog post emails.

Hey there! Today could be considered a sad day, or at least a sort of sad day for Stampin' Up! customers and demonstrators. Today is the last day of Sale-a-bration 2015. I know that's not the end of the world, but it is the end of choosing a free product with every $50 you order with me.

Here's my card for today. Everyone who has ordered or will place an order with me this month will receive this card in their Thank You Project Packet in addition to the normal Thank You Project:

This card is created with the Banner Blessings Photopolymer stamp set, available right now! Although not listed in any catalog, it is part of the pilot Photopolymer Release Program by Stampin' Up! I also used the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Folder, the Starburst Framelits Dies, and Garden Party stamp set.

Inside is simply stamped with a greeting from the Hey You set, and the envelope is lined with a piece from the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack (it's not just for Valentine's Day, ya know?)

Today is also Tuesday, which means it's time for new Weekly Deals! yay! The more I think about it, the less sad this day gets! This weeks' deals are all about the Big Shot, and WOW I just realized the Magnetic Platform is $10 off! woo hoo!

Stampin’ Up! Blended Bloom!

Today's Brenda Keenan inspiration uses the Blended Bloom single stamp, which was designed with Blendability alcohol markers in mind. When it took longer than anticipated for Blendabilities to become available, we had to find alternate techniques to use with this stamp. The Blendabilities ARE available to order now, but I love this technique using Sponge Daubers:

I heat-embossed with white powder on Shimmery White cardstock first. Using a sponge dauber, Daffodil Delight ink is applied with a soft, circular motion to the bloom's center first, then Coastal Cabana is applied around the Daffodil Delight, allowing the inks to overlap a bit. Finish with Island Indigo around the outer edges, overlapping the Coastal Cabana. Cut out with Paper Snips before mounting on the Large Polka Dot-embossed layer. Flower Frenzy Bigz L leaves tuck behind the blooms. Greeting is from A Dozen Thoughts.
