Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Silhouettes!

Hey there! Today I have another pair of silhouette cards, this time using the large blooms die from the Artistically Inked bundle and another "alcohol inked" print from the Expressions In Ink Specialty pack:

This print also has some gold veins in it for some added pop!

I stamped the greeting from Artistically Inked directly on the designer paper and added a few Matte Black Dots to complete the look.

Inside I used a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments set and added a scrap strip of designer paper to finish it off.

The second card. I just turned the die-cut a different way before adhering with liquid glue.

I stamped "hello", from Artistically Inked, directly on the paper again, and added more Matte Black Dots.

Another Peaceful Moments sentiment was perfect for the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Silhouettes!

Hey there! Today is my oldest grand-daughter, Maddie Kate's 20th birthday! Happy Birthday Maddie Kate! The little girl who made me a Grammie is also getting married a week and a day from now! I can hardly believe it, but I've seen her in her dress and we love her husband-to-be, so it's happening!

Today I have a pair of cards to share with you that I combined two new bundles to create; Hand-Penned Petals and Artistically Inked:

I love the look of black die-cuts, don't you? I adhered one of the Penned Flowers dies to a piece of Expressions In Ink Specialty Paper with tiny dots of liquid glue, then added a sentiment from Artistically Inked stamped with Tuxedo Black ink. I added a few Matte Black Dots and voila! Done!

Inside I used another Penned Flowers die-cut and a sentiment from Peaceful Moments.

Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Silhouettes!

Today I have a pair of cards to share with you that I combined two new bundles to create; Hand-Penned Petals and Artistically Inked:

Inside I used another Penned Flowers die-cut and a sentiment from Peaceful Moments.

I turned the card base vertical (also know as portrait) to create my second card with the same die cut and the "thanks" from Artistically Inked.

Inside I used another Peaceful Moments sentiment and stamped the flowers from Hand-Penned Petals.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream for Darcy!

Hey there! Yesterday my granddaughter, Darcy, graduated from Kindergarten and I got to go to the ceremony! I wanted to make her a card to commemorate the occasion, so I pulled out the Sweet Ice Cream Suite from the Spring Mini Catalog.

Darcy loves popsicles more than she does ice cream, so I used one of the prints from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper that has fun popsicles all over it with Bermuda Bay card stock and ink:

I embossed a Bermuda Bay panel on the left side with one of the Checks & Dots embossing folder. These folders are created to fit in the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, a fun, smaller, more portable and affordable version of the standard Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine!

I used the Tailored Tag Punch for the greeting, then added a few of the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles with tiny dots of liquid glue. I used the Take Your Pick Tool to pick up the sprinkles and place them on the glue.

Inside:

Dimensions to make your own card:

Bermuda Bay base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 1 1/4" and 4 1/4" greeting mat: scrap front layer to emboss: 3" x 5 1/4"

Ice Cream Corner DSP for front flap: 1" x 5 1/4" inside strip: 1" x 4 3/4" for envelope flap: 2 1/4" x 5 3/4"

Basic White for greeting: scrap inside layer: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Expressions In Ink!

Hey there! I sometimes like to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) my own work and share another version. Such is the case with the card I have for you today. I CASE'd the card I shared for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop but with other prints from the Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper pack:

After I adhered and DSP (Designer Series Paper) and card stock layer (just barely adhered) to a white 5 1/2" x 4" layer and then to the card front, I cut it with a smooth Layering Circle Die. I then removed the card stock layer and embossed with the Pretty Flowers folder, then adhered the embossed card stock permanently to the card front. I then cut the scalloped circle ring with the same circle die I used to cut through the entire card front and the scalloped circle die that is the next size bigger. I adhered the ring to the opening with a thin line of liquid glue.

The Pretty Flowers Embossing folder is sooooo pretty! It's a must-have!

The sentiment stamped on the inside does double duty since it peeks through the circle opening in the front layers!

Stampin’ Up! Expressions In Ink Pretty Panels!

Hey there! Today I have a pretty little card to share with you that I created with more prints from the Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Artistically Inked Bundle!

I love to play around with the different prints in a designer paper pack to see what pleasing combinations I can come up with!

I did something a little different for the greeting! I stamped it directly on the Magenta Madness blossom! I also added little flecks of Gilded Leafing Embellishment with Heat & Stick Powder.

I adhered the three designer paper panels to a 4" x 5 1/4" layer of Basic White, then embossed it all with the Pretty Flowers folder.

Inside I stamped another Artistically Inked sentiment and another Magenta Madness bloom.
