Carol Payne Stamps Holiday Catalog Halloween Projects!

Hey there! September 10th is the 41st anniversary of our wedding day! I can hardly believe it's been that long!

Time sure does fly, so today I'm sharing some Halloween swaps before it gets too late!

Mary Lang's card with the Still Night Bundle is Halloween-themed, but leave off the bat and add a Christmas Greeting and you'd have a Christmas card!

Mary superbly colored the owl with Stampin' Blends Markers, added a Winter Woods Bundle evergreen. She sponged the tree with white craft ink for a snowy, moonlit look!

Two sets of branches, Early Espresso and Whisper White, were layered for the snow-covered look. A Smoky Slate inkpad with lightly brushed over the white "moon". The bat punched with the Spooky Bats Punch were also sponged with white ink.

A custom-sentiment was created with the Labeler Alphabet:

Janace Charbonneau used the Spooky Sweets Bundle, Rhinestones, and a bit of Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon to create a fun card:

Simply easy-peasy!

Last Batch of the Alaska Christmas Swaps!

Hey there! I know I had posted previously what I thought were the "last of the Alaska Cruise Christmas swaps, but as I was finishing my categorizing I discovered more! yay! I love Christmas card making! Christmas is my favorite holiday and Christmas cards are my favorite to make!

Stampin’ Up! Stylish Christmas!

Hey there! We're waiting on grandbaby #10 to arrive. She was due last Friday, but her 3 older siblings were overdue, so we aren't surprised. We are, however, getting a little bit antsy because the hubs & I are scheduled to leave for Stampin' Up! Alaska Incentive Trip this coming Friday. I hope she gets here before we leave!

Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stampers Shoebox Swap!

Hey there! I have a laptop again! yay! Last night I held my Monthly Inspiration Meeting for my local downline, the Yes, Mam! Stampers. We had a lovely time sharing, laughing, eating, and STAMPING!

This month's theme was a Shoebox Swap using Holiday Catalog products. Here's the picture of the gorgeous projects we made:

I don't have much time this morning to blog. I'm going to a funeral this morning. Not my favorite thing to do on my one day off from babysitting Liam and Darcy, but the funeral is for the sister of a couple of my dear stamping friends. They only had 2 weeks from her pancreatic cancer diagnosis to her passing. Sad.

I will be posting the above cards individually later this week so you can see them and the techniques used, so be sure to come back.

Becky Anderson brought this adorable little basket to hold the yummy chocolates she shared with us:

She used a couple of my favorite designs from the Into the Woods Designer Paper. This basket is little but mighty! It held a WHOLE BAG of Dove chocolates with room to spare!

(some chocolate may or may not have been eaten before this picture was taken)

Stampin’Up! Beautifully Baroque Mustache Santa!

Hey there! The sickness bug has struck again. It started with a sore throat, now I have a fever. Yuck. But I'd rather get it over with now before Alisa's baby arrives in just a couple of weeks.

Today's swap was created by Sherri Beyrer, who CASED it from Tina Rappe. That's how stamping and sharing works; we all share ideas with each other, which makes papercrafting that much easier and fun!

This jolly old elf is adorable as he is, but wait till you see what comes next!

He stands like an easel, but when you pull his coat and beard out from under his mustache . . .

He opens accordian-style! So easy to add your favorite Christmas greeting and tuck in a gift card!
