Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season!

Hey there! I was flipping through my stamps the other day and realized I needed to give some love to the Snowman Season, an Annual Catalog set! I paired him with the Classic Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, Tailored Tag Punch, and the Curvy Dies:

This tiny snowflake is from Curvy Christmas. I stamped-off each once before stamping around the Curvy Christmas "MERRY CHRISTMAS" so they would be too bold.

I colored the Snowman Season fellow with Stampin' Blends and then added Clear Wink of Stella to him and the "snow" falling on him. (although it doesn't show up well in the pic)

Dimensions:

Cherry Cobbler base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" (portrait) to punch greeting mat: 2" x 3"

Designer series paper strips: 1 3/4" x 4" – need three

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Peaceful Nativity!

Hey there! Today I have a card created with the Curvy Christmas stamp set and Peaceful Nativity Bundle. The "streaky stars" from Curvy Christmas made me think of the night sky the night my Savior was born and this is the result of that inspiration:

This look was achieved by stamping the "streaky stars" three times with Versamark on the Night of Navy layer, then heat embossing with silver powder. I cut a star from Silver Foil with a Nativity Die.

I cut the stable from Basic Black card stock with a Nativity Die, as well as the Holy Family that I heat-embossed with silver on Night of Navy.

A simple greeting straight from Peaceful Nativity.

Stampin’ Up! Easy Curvy Christmas Card!

Hey there! I finally got a chance to play with the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle! I made a Christmas card with Curvy Christmas stamps, Curvy Dies, and Classic Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Paper:

I used a folded-back flap on the front, then added 1" wide strips of Classic Christmas Designer paper and Shaded Spruce so the scrolled cut-outs would really shine!

Every image used on this card is from the Curvy Christmas stamp set, inked in either Cherry Cobbler or Shaded Spruce. I added a single Shaded Spruce rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone pack for some sparkle. Holiday Rhinestones are my $50 ordering gift this month!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Starlight!

Hey there! I created my "starlight" card today with Peaceful Nativity once again, and used Trimming The Town Designer Series Paper, which is another one of the packs on sale this month for 15% off!

I cut the circle mat, star, and side strips from Champagne Foil.

I punched the ends of the greeting with the Banners Pick-a-Punch.

Inside:

Finally, a tutorial for the Starlight Technique!

Cut Whisper White with a Layering Circle Die. Adhere it to your grid sheet with a tiny bit of adhesive on the back. Line up the center of the circle with the bold lines of the grid.

Lay the edge of a Post-it note from the top center to the corner of one of the grid squares. Use a sponge dauber to lightly sponge Misty Moonlight ink along the edge of the Post-it.

Move the post-it down two squares on the grid and sponge again.

Continue moving the post-it down one square, pivoting the top of the post-it from the same spot a the top of the circle. You may need to dab off the excess of Misty Moonlight ink before sponging along the post-it edge.

It's now ready to stamp with Peaceful Nativity!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Nativity Starlight!

Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog Previews!

I'm featuring a "must-have" from the Holiday Catalog, Snow Wonder!

A card on page 43 with In The Pines was my inspiration. I debated getting In the Pines because I love how versatile trees are for Christmas, winter, and masculine cards, but decided to focus on Snow Wonder for my pine tree "fix" this year!

I especially wanted to recreate the focal image with the Gold Hoops Embellishment:

The Soft Suede background was stamped tone-on-tone and sponged with Soft Suede ink!

Stampin’ Up! Nothing Sweeter Shop By Project CASE!

Hey there! As I am blogging this we are winging our way toward Orlando to attend the Stampin' Up! 30th Anniversary OnStage event! I'm so glad I decided to get a hotspot for my phone!

A new feature in my online store is "Shop By Project"! Currently a test feature for now, if successful it could become permanent. I browsed the projects and found a cute card created with the Nothing Sweeter bundle from the Holiday Catalog. I was inspired to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it, then created a few more that I'll share soon. The "Shop By Project" cards don't have instructions, but do list the supplies used so you can purchase the ones you don't already have.

Although this card does require a Big Shot, it's pretty AND pretty simple!

Pool Party, Call Me Clover, Real Red, and Whisper White is a fresh, wintry color combo!

The Nothing Sweeter stamps are bundled with the Sweetly Stitched Framelits dies. I used two dies to cut and "stitch" the tree and the snowflake. After I stamped the lights on the tree, I added rhinestones for sparkle.

After stamping the greeting from Nothing Sweeter with Real Red ink I used another Sweetly Stitched die to add the scalloped "stitching". The extra mini-scallops were created by punching a white scrap with the Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and then using my Paper Snips to trim off the scallop strip. I adhered with tiny dots of liquid glue.

All of the inside is stamped with Nothing Sweeter images.
