Stampin’ Up! Print Poetry Birthday Set #1!

Stampin’ Up! Print Poetry Birthday Set #1!

Good morning! I'm so happy you have stopped in to see me today!

A few days ago I showed you this card HERE using the Fan Fair Designer Paper and a Riding Hood Red card base. I liked that card so much, I decided to try out the Print Poetry Paper Stack with the same layout!

I made a few sets of cards with this layout, so today I'm going to show you the first of three sets:

Print poetry 3
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

This one is more "shabby chic":

Print poetry 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

And the inside of one:

Print poetry 4
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

The greeting is from You're Amazing, the inside verse is from One in a Million, and the flourish is from Established Elegance!

Colors used: Midnight Muse & Soft Suede ink & markers, Midnight Muse, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla cardstock. Note: I dragged the Midnight Muse inkpad against the edges of the layers to smudge the ink on instead of sponging.

Accessories: Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Paper Snips, In-Color Dahlias, Glue Dots

That's all for today! I hope you come back tomorrow to see the next set!

You can always shop in my Online Store for the products I use for my creations:

Stampin’ Up! Geometric Best of Birthdays!

Stampin’ Up! Geometric Best of Birthdays!

Today's card is another CASE (and change) from the talented Artisan stamper, Wendy Wexler! This project was another of the Punch Club projects from this weekend using several Stampin' Up! Square Punches and Best of Birthdays stamp set!

Geometrics 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I used the retiring River Rock cardstock and ink, as well as retiring Certainly Celery cardstock. After running the Very Vanilla layer through the Big Shot in the Chevron Textured Impressions Folder I used the River Rock inkpad Direct-to-Paper to ink up the raised chevron pattern.

Geometrics 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

The inside word is from Seasonal Sayings, a Holiday Catalog set that is on the Carry Over List in the Occasions Catalog. I used the River Rock inkpad again Direct-to-Paper to get the swished-ink look!

I used a BUNCH of Stampin' Up! Square punches to make this card:

1" Square Punch #124094 $15.95

1 1/4" Square Punch  #119865 $15.95

1 3/8" Square Punch  #119877 $16.95

Postage Stamp Punch #122344 $15.95

Here's how I made those cute little "square rings":

Geometrics 3
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I punched the Real Red cardstock first with the 1" Square Punch, then set aside the punched-out square to use elsewhere on the card. I then inserted the negative image from the punching into the Postage Stamp punch, "eyeballed" it for eveness, and punched out the cutest little "square ring" you ever saw!

After embossing the various-sized squares with the Perfect Polka Dot, Square Lattice, and Chevron Textured Impressions Folders, I attached them to the card front with SNAIL adhesive and Tombow Multi-purpose Adhesive Glue (on the skinny little square rings!)

That's it for today! I'm going to be working on the projects for my "Flower Fair Simply Scrappin' Kit Class" this Friday, so check back tomorrow to see some of the projects we will be making!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Textured Impressions Folders used:

Chevron #127749 $7.95

Square Lattice #119976 $7.95

Perfect Polka Dot #117335 $7.95

Stampin’ Up! Dress Framelits and Puzzle Piece Resist!

Stampin’ Up! Dress Framelits and Puzzle Piece Resist!

Happy Monday Morning! It's a "Liam Day" today, so I will be out of here in a few minutes, but just wanted to show you this little gem from Technique Class Saturday!

Puzzle piece 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

It's a fun technique called "Puzzle Piece Resist"! It's usually achieved by clear embossing images on your cardstock, cutting out the "puzzle pieces", sponging one color on the outer frame, and sponging another color on the puzzle pieces. However, I decided to simplify the process by using the Naturals Compostion Specialty paper which is already clear embossed, then instead of sponging color I used a brayer! Easy Peasy!

Puzzle piece 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I used a greeting and verse from You Are Loved again. I'm really loving this set! I also miniaturized the Vanilla Flower Trim flower by heating it with my Heat Tool to shrink it!

Puzzle piece 4
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

While I was shrinking my flower I held it down with an old stylus so it wouldn't blow away!

Guess I'd better get going! Don't want to be late for Liam!

Don't forget, today is the LAST DAY to take advantage of the FREE SHIPPING!

Stampin’ Up! Punch Project #1 Small Heart Tulips!

Good morning! I can't wait to show you this card! This is a CASE and adaptation of a card by Wendy Wexler, darling tiny tulips made with the Small Heart Punch!

Heart tulips 1

Heart tulips 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I used the part of the paper cut out by the Floral Frames Framelit as the background layer for the inside verse, and added my own extra little tulip here on the inside.

Well it's back to the drawing board today! Lots more to get ready for Saturday's classes! I am having my Punch and Technique Class AND a stamp-a-stack, "CampJustWannaStamp" all at the same time!

Stampin’ Up! Cuddles & Kisses!

Stampin’ Up! Cuddles & Kisses!

I took a lot of pictures of the presentation and swap boards at the Stampin' Up! St. Louis Regional a couple of weeks ago, and as you know have been sharing those samples with you every few days in between sharing my own creations. Today, however, I am able to share a swap board sample that I actually created!

Babies
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I'm still scratching my head over this one, as while I created this swap, I don't remember how it came to be on the Stampin' Up! board! Oh well, it's there and I was delighted to see it on display. I used the Occasions Catalog set, Cuddles and Kisses, Labels Collection Framelits, the Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Folder, Melon Mambo 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon, and the hearts strip from the Delightful Details Textured Impressions Folders set.

I hope to have the chance to do so creating and stamping today. It's
been THREE WHOLE DAYS since I held a stamp in my hand, and I'm having
stamp-withdrawl! If I do, and it's definitely on my "to do" list, I will be sharing my creations with you here!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Fancy Fold Swallowtail!

Stampin’ Up! Fancy Fold Swallowtail!

Good Morning! It's a "Liam day" today, so I will be off to see him in a few! But before I go I wanted to share this unusual-fold card I snapped a picture of at Regionals. It is really intriquing and different, I hope to create my own soon!

Fancy fold swallowtail 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

A full circle folded in half, then the right side has been cut and folded stair-step style! I've never seen anything like it before! The Swallowtail stamp has been gorgeously heat embossed with White embossing powder on the Baja Breeze cardstock, then sponged with more Baja Breeze ink for depth!

Fancy fold swallowtail 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

A side view reveals a simple cut in the cardstock, then a couple of small folds to create the perch for the Beautiful Wings butterfly!

Well, I'm off to Liam's! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
