Hey there! Instead of Sunday Swap Day I'm continuing my "Best Of" Year in Review with Retiring Stamps and Accessories. I've been going through my blog archives from the past year, and I'm not only amazed at the volume of stamping I've done, I'm also amazed at what's retiring and what's not!

A couple of things to remember about the Retiring List (expiring May 31st)

STAMPS are guaranteed available up until May 22nd. After that date they will only be available while the current supply for that set lasts.

I'm seeing a trend. I choose retiring sets to make family cards. Of course, when I choose to stamp with them I have no idea they will retire, but it's working out that way!

Stampin’ Up! Cake Crazy for Jaxon!

Hey there! Five years ago we welcomed Jaxon William Hollis into our family! His birth started a flood of grandchildren. Two days before his birth we found out Kimberly was expecting Liam, the next Christmas we found out Alisa was expecting Oakley, then Lando, Darcy, and Ivory joined us. Our grandchild total is now up to 9! No announcements this Christmas, but I doubt we are done. Six of our 9 are five and under, so we it's always a party when we're all together!

Today we are having Jaxon's birthday party at noon, then going to my husband's family to celebrate Christmas this evening. Here's my card I created for Jaxon with the coming Cake Crazy stamp set from the 2017 Occasions Catalog:

I used the new Party Animal Designer Series Paper for my colors, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, and Basic Black.

I used the new Candle Border Punch along the bottom edge of the card. I added strips of Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight on the inside to shine through the candles.

All of the images and sentiments used are from Cake Crazy. This set has TWENTY TWO photopolymer stamps!
