Stampin’ Up! Beauty Abounds!

Hey there! Happy Monday after Easter! We had a lovely family time yesterday after church with a big family dinner and an egg hunt with the grands. We postpone the first moving until after Easter so there are plenty of grass "nests" to hide our eggs! Now we can mow! lol!

Today's share was created with the Occasions Catalog Beauty Abounds bundle. I started with a Whisper White Thick card base layered with Whisper White embossed with the Layered Leaves folder:

I stamped "thanks" from Beauty Abounds with black ink, punched with the Classic Label Punch twice to get the shorter greeting strip. I punched another Classic Label from Highland Heather, then cut in half to "stretch" and layer behind the greeting. I colored Silver Baker's Twine with a Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blend to match.

I cut Highland Heather with the Butterfly Beauty die; adhering with tiny dots of liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Last Butterfly Post for Awhile!

Good morning! Today is a busy day! I am prepping for the Honduras Fundraiser tomorrow night. One of my dear friends and my downline, Jan Lacey, is trying to help her daughters raise the funds needed to participate in the "One Day, One Nation" mission trip to Honduras this summer. They have about half of what they need so far, so if you live near Mt Vernon, IL and would like to come make some nice cards, see some fun stamping demonstrations, and enjoy the fellowship of some of the nicest stampers I know, all for the $25 donation fee, come see us at the Wesley United Methodist Church on North Salem Road at 6:30 p.m tomorrow night, April 19! There will be doorprizes, snacks, and a Grand Prize drawing for one of these:

All three of these samples were made with the gorgeous Swallowtail single stamp in the Occasions Catalog! When I first saw this stamp back in December 2012, I didn't think I needed it, but I was sure my downline, Linda, would be owning it. Little did I know that I would soon be seeing SO MANY STINKIN' CUTE samples made with it that I would have to order one of my own!

Whether stamped in a single color, heat embossed, marker-thumped, baby-wiped, or glittered, I haven't seen a way to use it that I didn't like! I sure hope it makes the New Annual Catalog beginning on June 1st!

Stampin’ Up! Butterflies!

Good morning! It's a gray and foggy day here, and I'm not wde awake yet, but wanted to share these fun samples with you, a few more from my photo stash from the St Louis Regional!

The above card was on the sample board. It combines Tea for Two Designer Paper with the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot Die, Ticket Duo Punch, and the That's the Ticket and Loving Thoughts stamp sets! They used the Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack on page 27 of the Occasions catalog to pierce the perfect oval design behind the butterf

This sample combines the Floral Frames Framelits, Daydream Medallions stamps, and the Beautiful Butterflies Die. It is a full card, folded and cut out with the framelit so the entire card is a flower!

Can you say MONOCHROMATIC? I don't often do a monochromatic card, but this one is a good example! My Friend stamp set, Very Vintage Wheel, and the Elegant Butterfly Punch all combine to make a truly elegant card.

The Regionals stamp set was Clockworks, and this swapper combined it with the Bitty Butterfly Punch and one of my all-time favs, Friendly Phrases! I love the "faux ribbon" down the front of the card, which is actually designer paper!

The Bitty Butterfly punch was punched through the front of the card to create the "window" for the Designer-paper-punched butterfly to peek through!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Easter Wishes!

Good Morning! He is Risen! Happy Easter to you! This morning we will be at Sunrise Service in a few minutes, then a breakfast at church, then Sunday School, then Easter Worship Service, then home for our family dinner and Easter Egg Hunt! Yay! Family time is the BEST!!!! Hope you get to spend your day with your loved ones!
