Stampin’ Up! Best of Retiring Year in Review Part 5!

Hey there! I'm back again today with more of my "Best of Retiring" creations from the past year. I will be back tomorrow with one more day of this series, then it's back to new creations!

A couple of things to remember about the Retiring List (expiring May 31st)

Stampin’ Up! Love Sparkles Dragonfly Dreams!

Hey there!

Today's card is the final one created for my Dragonfly Dreams class. I combined Love Sparkles (retiring) with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlets.

I used a new-to-me technique, "ziploc watercolor"!

After white heat-embossing the images on Shimmery White, I put drops of Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, and Elegant Eggplant reinker on a ziploc baggie, spritzed with water, laid a second baggie on top to "smoosh" the reinker, then lifted the baggie and laid a Shimmery White layer on top.

I stamped a Balloon Adventures (retiring) phrase with Basic Black Archival, inside.

A second inking with the same spritzed ziploc gave a different look!

Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer dragonfly was adhered with a tiny dimensional piece. The greeting is white heat embossed on a Basic Black banner.

I stamped a Sending Thoughts (retiring) phrase inside the second card.

Stampin’ Up! Love Sparkles Dragonfly Dreams!

Hey there!

Stampin’ Up! Balloon Adventures!

Hey there! I'm still under the weather, but I've made progress with shopping for a new laptop while I'm hanging out in the recliner, so all is not lost!

I created today's card with the Balloon Adventures Bundle:

I used the Balloon Adventures stamps, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlets, Confetti Celebration and Festive Textured Impressions folders.

I LOVE this color palette: Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder, Very Vanilla, and Gold Glimmer!

The Balloon Pop-Up Thinlets are the showcase of the inside! I used the Balloon Bouquet Punch to punch out the balloons. I LOVE how products that have been in my crafting repertoire for awhile can be used with NEW products! It adds value to my existing stash!

Such a cute and upbeat sentiment, also from Balloon Adventures!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Balloon Adventures!

Hey there! It's Sunday, and also my hubby's birthday today, so I'm going to make this a quick post so I can get off of here quickly and get Sunday dinner going!

First, Raedean Shibata used the flap-fold technique with Balloon Adventures for her swap:

She used Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, and Party Animal Designer Paper for her creation.

I love how the balloon strings are connected under the banner!

She created a gift card slot with the Classic Label punch and added "by your own present!" from the B.Y.O.P. set.

Next, Susie Wood also used Party Animal Designer Paper with the Super Duper stamp set.

She punched the balloons with the smaller balloon in the Balloon Bouquet punch and added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer.

Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon provides the balloon strings, and Emerald Envy Decorative Labels accented with Daffodil Delight Enamel Shapes add the perfect accents.

I think they must have made this "YAY" from Super Duper with me in mind!

Finally, Sandy Carlson combined Pop of Pink Specialty Paper with Balloon Adventures and Super Duper for a decidedly girly card!

Basic Black cut with a Lots of Labels Framelit, followed by Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Whisper White, and Silver Foil all cut with Layering Circles Framelits combine to create an awesome link between the two front flaps.
