Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Step Three!

Hey there! Today I have the third in my progressive series of Celebrate Sunflowers birthday cards. I stepped-up this one just a little bit more with another embossing folder and the Sunflower Dies!

I added a layer of Cinnamon Cider embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder behind the die-cut sunflower. I also added Cinnamon Cider ink to the Hammered Metal embossing with a sponge dauber. You can't really see it in the picture but I added Clear Wink of Stella to the sunflower center after I popped it up with dimensionals.

I added a bow tied with Bumblebee 1/4" In Color ribbon and a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot.

I finished off the inside with a smaller sunflower colored with Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Write Markers and cut with a Sunflower die.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stepped-Up!

Hey there! As promised, today I have another Celebrate Sunflowers card, this time stepped-up with ribbon, an embossing folder, In Good Taste and Flowers For Every Season designer paper, and more layers! Yesterday's card just "grew up" a little! lol!

I still stamped the sunflower directly on the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, but cut down the layer closer to the bloom and added a bow tied with Cinnamon Cider Ribbon using a glue dot.

A Bumblebee-color In Color Enamel Dot adds another pop of color. They are soooo easy to add with a Take Your Pick tool! I added dimension to the Cinnamon Cider background layer with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

Inside I used In Color Stampin' Write Markers to color the small blooms before stamping in the corners.

Small touches make a big difference between yesterday's card (which I love) and today's (which I love more!)

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers!

Today I have an quick and easy card created with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set:

Simply simple, but simply super too! I stamped the Celebrate Sunflowers main image with the new Bumblebee In Color ink directly on a layer of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I love this look! The images are so beautifully detailed!

I also stamped the greeting from Celebrate Sunflowers with Tuxedo Black ink, and added a Bumblebee In Color Enamel Dot.

Inside I Tuxedo Black-stamped another Celebrate Sunflowers sentiment and a smaller sunflower with the Bumblebee ink.

I created another simple-layered card with the "thanks a bunch" greeting from the set:

And used the fourth and final sentiment on the inside:

I have two more versions of this card to share with you over the next couple of days, each one is "stepped-up" a little more than the one before it, so be sure to check in tomorrow!

Stampin’ Up! Posted For You!

Hey there! We hosted a wedding shower for my husband's nephew and his lovely bride-to-be, so I used the new Posted For You Bundle of stamps and the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch with Seaside Spray and Shimmery White to create their card:

I embossed a Shimmery White layer with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.

I stamped the "LOVE" image with Classic Seaside Spray on Shimmery White, quickly sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder, heated with a heat tool. I colored with Light Seaside Spray and Light Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends, then punched with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch. I matted it with two punched from Seaside Spray.

I colored Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding with the same Light Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends marker.

One of my favorite phrases from So Sentimental inside:

I also had a swap that needed to go into the mail, so I created a similar version, but with a 1/4" wide strip of Seaside Spray card stock instead of the ribbon.

I finished both cards with a pearl-look Elegant Faceted Gem:

Stampin’ Up! Field of Flowers Z-Fold!

Hey there! I've been MIA again! I have been recovering from a UTI that required 3 different antibiotics (turns out I'm allergic to sulfa drugs and the second one was not the right one after the culture came back) and a sonogram. They didn't find anything wrong from the sonogram, so I'm just hoping this time it will stay away!

I have done some stamping, but have been too tired to do any blogging. Today I'm sharing a z-fold card I created with the Field of Flowers Bundle.

Yes, all of those little flowers were punched with the Confetti Flowers Border Punch, which is part of the Field of Flowers Bundle. I glued them all with liquid glue and my Take Your Pick Tool for easy placement. I punched Bumblebee, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, and Whisper White to create the jumble of wildflowers.

All of the images and phrases are found in the Field of Flowers stamp set.

I made the little flight trails with a retired Stampin' Up! Journaling Pen.

Stampin’ Up! Field of Flowers!

Hey there! I've been playing with new Annual Catalog goodies all month. (When I wasn't cuddling a wee baby girl!) For today's card I played with the Field of Flowers Bundle and new In Color inks and card stock. I used Just Jade card stock and ink, Magenta Madness ink, Bumblebee ink, and Misty Moonlight card stock.

I framed the blooms from Field of Flowers with a circle of vines cut with a Birds & More die. The dragonflies are stamped with Bumblebee.

I heat embossed a greeting from Lovely You with white powder:

And used two of the 3 ribbons from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo pack.

Stampin’ Up! Round of Applause!

Hey there! A couple of weeks ago I was commissioned to make some graduation cards, so I used the Round of Applause stamp set and the Label Me Lovely Punch to make eight of these!

I started by stamping the Basic Gray layer with the graduation hat and "you did it" with Basic Gray ink.

After heat embossing the focal image with silver powder, I punched with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch, then punched Silver Foil with the Label Me Lovely punch. After cutting the silver label in half I adhered to the back to mat it.

All of the images and phrases are from Round of Applause.

This was my first creation with the same stamp set. I decided to upgrade it to the first one I showed you for more elegance; but this one is nice too!
