Stampin’ Up! Sheet Music Sheltering Tree!

Hey there! I used the masking technique with Sheet Music and Sheltering Tree to create this pair of sympathy cards:

I tore a piece of paper and then adhered it over the Whisper White layer with washi tape. I inked the Sheet Music stamp with Basic Gray ink, stamped it off on scrap paper before stamping over the masked white layer. Leaving the torn-paper mask on the layer, I used a Sponge Brayer to roll first Soft Sky and then Pear Pizzazz over the Sheet Music image. The Sponge Brayers contain two handles and four sponge rollers, allowing you to sponge with 4 different colors before rinsing any of them out with water. I keep my sponges stored in labeled baggies with the color they have been rolled in. At only $8 for four sponges and two handles, I can afford to dedicate the sponges!

After stamping and brayering, I removed the paper mask and then stamped the tree with Basic Black ink.

Inside I stamped a Thoughts & Prayers sentiment with Marina Mist ink and sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz.

My second creation was constructed in the same manner.

I love the look of Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz brayered side by side!

I stamped the Sheltering Tree greeting stamped on a 3/4" wide banner strip.

Stampin’ Up! Flower Shop Sympathy

Hey there! We made today's card last month at the Cozy Table class with the Flower Shop set:

We embossed the Pool Party layer with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions folder, added a strip of Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Paper and a piece of Tranquil Tide 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon to coordinate with the Tranquil Tide card base and the ink used to stamp the two Flower Shop blooms. We did lots of sponging on the edges of the card layers, and blooms before adhering the blooms together and to the card with a dimensional. We added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center. We had this sympathy sentiment and a happy birthday one from Rose Garden to choose from, punched with the Pretty Label Punch.

Inside we used another sentiment from Rose Wonder and lots of sponging.

Stampin’ Up! Stamping My Way Through the Catalog, Grown with Love Day 3!

Hey there! Today's card is my favorite! In a stash of old cards from many years ago I found a pull-out card design I updated with Grown with Love and In Colors Berry Burst and Sweet Sugarplum!

I used the Old Olive diagonal-striped print from Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper for the background, layering on Whisper White before adhering to the Old Olive card base. The flowers and greeting are inked with Berry Burst, Sweet Sugarplum, and Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Markers and cut with a Garden Grown framelit. I stamped the blooms again and cut with the separate bloom framelits included in the Garden Grown framelits. The blooms are bursting out of the Smoky Slate watering can, also cut with a Garden Grown framelit.

The slider opening was simply punched with the Classic Label Punch!

Stampin’ Up! Stamping My Way Through the Catalog, Grown with Love!

Hey there! I'm stamping on page 22 of the Annual Catalog today with the Grown with Love Stamp set!

I had a Crumb Cake card base with a Crushed Curry layer already attached laying on my stamping table, so instead of starting from scratch, I used them to build the rest of my card from there!

I embossed a Crumb Cake layer with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions folder for the background. I used Stampin' Write Markers in Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Always Artichoke, Old Olive, and Crushed Curry for the veggies, Fresh Fig for the "ALL THINGS GROW WITH LOVE", and stamped the wagon with Dapper Denim. I cut them out with Garden Grown Framelits (bundled with Grown with Love to save 10%), then adhered to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I added a Crushed Curry dot from the Regals Enamel Shapes to the center of a Touches of Nature Element, adding to the card front with a glue dot.

Inside I inked up a Layering Love sentiment with markers, and stamped "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from Sunshine Sayings with Basic Black ink.

This card is just the warm up. I have three more Grown with Love cards to share with you over the next few days!

Stampin’ Up! Stamping My Way Through the Catalog, Grown with Love!

My first card today features the colors of the Eastern Palace Cardstock Pack: Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig, and Tranquil Tide. This cardstock, along with Eastern Beauty stamps, Eastern Medallions Thinlets, Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Paper, Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers, and Mini Tassels make up the Eastern Palace Suite on pages 18-19 of the Annual Catalog. The 21 photopolymer Eastern Beauty stamps make it easy to create many varied looks!
