Birthday Card Swap Ideas From the Alaska Incentive Trip!

Hey there! In case you are wondering why I no longer use "Stampin' Up!" as the beginning of my blog post title, I recently found out that using "Stampin' Up!" in my URL was prohibited in the Demonstrator Manual. I want to be compliant with all of Stampin' Up!'s rules, so I immediately made the change. I'm STILL using ALL Stampin' Up! ALL the time, so not to worry!

Stampin’ Up! Wedding Words with Petal Promenade!

Hey there! This morning we dock in Seattle, take two flights, then home to our own beds tonight!

Today I'm sharing two cards created by me with Petal Promenade Designer Paper and Large Letters Framelits!

My first card has "LOVE" cut from Petal Promenade Designer (on sale B3G1F this month!), adhered Whisper White, then embossed with the Petal Burst folder.

Petal Promenade is sooooooo gorgeous, you've got to order some!

Stampin’ Up! Lilypad Lake and the New Catalog Begins Today!

Hey there! The New Annual Catalog starts today at Noon MT! I've been sharing sneak peeks for awhile, but now the catalog is LIVE and you can order the supplies! Yay!

For today's card I turned the presentation from portrait to landscape, brayering the same colors with the Versamark Resist technique. To view yesterday's card and the brayer tutorial, click HERE.

I cut the egret with a Lakeside Framelit.

I used the circle from Lilypad Lake to stamp the setting sun with Versamark before brayering the colors on the glossy card stock. I used a Journaling Pen to hand-draw the birds.

I cut the Lilypad Lake sentiment and the sea grass with Lakeside Framelits.

Inside I stamped a Special Occasions sentiment, then used the same brayer technique on the white layer. As you can see, you get a very different look with a different card stock!

Stampin’ Up! Stamping My Way Through the Catalog, Grown with Love Day 3!

Hey there! Today's card is my favorite! In a stash of old cards from many years ago I found a pull-out card design I updated with Grown with Love and In Colors Berry Burst and Sweet Sugarplum!

I used the Old Olive diagonal-striped print from Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper for the background, layering on Whisper White before adhering to the Old Olive card base. The flowers and greeting are inked with Berry Burst, Sweet Sugarplum, and Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Markers and cut with a Garden Grown framelit. I stamped the blooms again and cut with the separate bloom framelits included in the Garden Grown framelits. The blooms are bursting out of the Smoky Slate watering can, also cut with a Garden Grown framelit.

The slider opening was simply punched with the Classic Label Punch!

I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon, and a Special Celebrations sentiment.

Inside I stamped the companion Special Celebrations sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! In the City Baby!

Hey there! In past years I hardly ever stamped with the Host sets, but this year's catalog has some really good ones! I've already used the Tranquil Tulips for my Open House, and In the City for a wedding card, so it was easy to use it again to make a baby card! Lately I've been making two cards as I make one so I will have a spare I can bear to part with and actually mail! lol! I again punched Blushing Bride with the Starburst Punch to mount the Crumb Cake stamped house and the Blushing Bride stamped stork. Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon coordinated perfectly!

I accented the "special delivery" In the City greeting with a Blushing Bride flower punched with the Tree Builder Punch.

Inside I used "Welcome Baby" from the new Special Celebrations set. I find I'm using this set SO MUCH!

Stampin’ Up! Going to the Chapel!

Hey there! Last Saturday I attended the wedding of a dear friend's daughter from my church. I created this wedding card with the In the City Host set. I used Shimmery White card stock for the base, then added stamped and punched images for a whimsical-but-elegant look!

I stamped the church from In the City with Crumb Cake ink, then colored with the fine tip of a Blushing Bride marker. I punched with the 1 3/4" Circle punch, then layered it on Blushing Bride punched with the new Starburst punch. I added a Crumb Cake tree punched with the Tree Builder Punch, with blossoms punched from Blushing Bride with the same punch. The tiniest Pearl Basic Jewels adorn the centers.

After stamping the greeting with Crumb Cake, I added one more pearl adorned blossom.

Inside I used a sentiment from Special Celebrations. I just love this new set! I know I'm going to be reaching for it a lot this year.
