Stampin’ Up! Stamping My Way Through the Catalog, Eastern Beauty Day 3!

Hey there! Today's card is created with the flower die from the Eastern Medallions Thinlets and the "hi" greeting from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit:

I started with a Dapper Denim card base, adding a layer of Berry Burst and a Very Vanilla layer embossed with the Polka Dot Basics folder.

After cutting out blooms from Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist, I punched both colors with the 1/2" Circle Punch for flower centers. After stamping the "hi" from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit with Berry Burst, I punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch. All are mounted on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For my finishing touch I added a layer of gloss over the flower centers using my Fine Tip Glue Pen. It takes a few minutes for the glue to dry, so I kept the card flat while I stamped the inside layer to keep the glue from dripping. I experimented with adding the glue to the greeting, but the glue made the classic ink run and blurred the word, so I replaced it with a fresh, un-glossed greeting.

This is a simple "thinking of you", "what's up?", kind of card uses another Oh Happy Day Card Kit greeting.

I started with a Dapper Denim card base, added a Tranquil Tide 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" layer, then stamped on a 4" x 5 1/4" layer with Dapper Denim & Berry Burst. Hey there! I'm stamping through the catalog today with the Eastern Beauty stamp set! My first card today features the colors of the Eastern Palace Cardstock Pack: Dapper Denim, Fresh Fig, and Tranquil Tide. This cardstock, along with Eastern Beauty stamps, Eastern Medallions Thinlets, Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Paper, Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers, and Mini Tassels make up the Eastern Palace Suite on pages 18-19 of the Annual Catalog. The 21 photopolymer Eastern Beauty stamps make it easy to create many varied looks!

The only additions to the card front were the Starburst punch I used to punch out the greeting and the Gold Faceted Gem I added to the bloom.

The Oh Happy Day Card Kit was still on my crafting table, so I used one of the stamps for the inside.

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the last set of cards from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit. This kit was fun and quick to put together! Today's cards are "matchbook" style:

I love the cheery colors of this kit: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, and retired In Color Mint Macaron!

I made all of these cards as close to the kit instructions as I could, but you could put yours together any way YOU want!

The sentiments in the stamp set included in the kit work for so many different occasions and needs.

The glittered chipboard elements are my fav!

These are the perfect size to tuck into the top of a gift bag, or add candy or gum and it becomes a gift all of itself!

I still had all of these supplies left after making all 20 cards!

Hey there! I'm back with the next set of 5 cards from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit. Today's cards are a unique heart/tri-fold you are going to love! There are five of these with envelopes to go with them in this 20-card kit.

All of the card bases, envelopes, stamps, banners, pre-printed embellishments, baker's twine, gold foil pieces, EVERYTHING used on these cards, with the exception of SNAIL, glue dots, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue, are included in the kit!

With the 13-piece stamp set included in the kit, you have lots of options for stamping on the front and the inside!

This bright and cheery kit has been so popular, it was carried over from last year's catalog!

Remember to make sure your inkpads are well-inked when stamping with photopolymer (clear) stamps, and always put the Stampin' Pierce Mat under your paper to give the best "cushion" so you will achieve a crisp image.

The cards in this kit came together pretty quickly. I made these to match the kit examples, but you know you can always design your own!

I love the hand-written font of the stamps in this kit!
