You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Carol Payne Stamps, or may have come from the person above me in the list. If you get off track, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog.  At the moment you are visiting Carol Payne.

I decided to play with the wildly popular Daisy Delight Bundle!

First, I stamped a background using one of the daisy centers from the set with Daffodil Delight ink:

I didn't worry about it being too "perfect", I just stamped the center three times before re-inking. I love the varying shades you get when you do this!

I stamped Basic Black daisies over the background, added a stamped and punched daisy, Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon, and a greeting from Label Me Pretty!

I had to hurry to take these pictures because it was starting to sprinkle outside, but I love using natural light! I stamped and punched three daisies, curled the petals with my fingers, then adhered together with Liquid Glue. I added highlights with my White Stampin' Chalk Marker, and finished the center with a Gold Faceted Gem. I adhered to the card front with a double stack of dimensionals.

Label Me Pretty and the Pretty Label Punch are fast becoming a staple stampin' tool!

Because I wanted everything to be brand new, I reached for Just Add Text for the inside sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Any Occasion Sale-a-bration Video!

Stampin’ Up! Any Occasion Sale-a-bration Video!

Hey there! We've had an extra hectic week here. Alisa's family stayed with us from Sunday night through Friday morning. They were having some tile and plumbing work done at their house so stayed with us while the water was turned off. I babysat for Liam & Darcy Monday through Thursday too,  and after I got home every afternoon of course I had to spend some time playing and cuddling with Ivory and her big brothers Oakley and Lando, so no new stamping this week. Last night I had my monthly Stamp Camp at Donna's house down by Marion, IL, and Jessica's two boys, Cohen and Jaxon,  spent the night with us (Mark stayed home to care for them) while big sis Maddie Kate had a cheer competition today. They are still here, so no new stamping yet, but my creative Mojo is itching to try some ideas!

I do want to share with you this video from Stampin' Up! showcasing the Any Occasion stamp set from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Simply place an order of at least $50 in my online store (before tax & shipping) and you could choose this set as your free gift!

The little cards Andrea shared are just SO CUTE, and she shared some great tips for using your photopolymer stamps in different ways! Thanks, Stampin' Up!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch for the 4th!

Stampin’ Up! Flower Patch for the 4th!

Hey there! Happy 4th of July! I'm having one of the most hectic (and fun!) summers in a long time, which isn't leaving much time for blogging. I actually got up at 5:30 a.m. just  to post this, and if you know me at all you know I DON'T DO EARLY very well! LOTS going on at my house, all good, which means this summer is whizzing by, and by looking at my calendar, I don't think it's going to slow down.I leave for the Stampin' Up! Inspire, Create, Share Convention in less than two weeks, then a quick family vacation to French Lick, Indiana, then keeping my grandson, Jaxon, for a few days. Add in Punch & Technique Class, Christmas in July Classes, a handful of hostess stamping parties and July is completely BOOKED!

I created this card a few weeks ago using my new Flower Patch stamp set:

Stampin_up_flower_patch_1 - Copy

I was going for a fireworks-Fourth-of-July effect. What do you think?

The "celebration" image is from the Project Life Remember This set.

Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red inks stamped on Whisper White.

Stampin_up_flower_patch_2 - Copy

After stamping and assembling I added a thin layer of clear Dazzling Details. It takes several minutes for this sparkly glue to dry so leave it laying flat.

Stampin_up_flower_patch_3 - Copy

Inside is a sentiment from the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit inked with Stampin' Write Markers.

That's all for now. Low-key plans today. I will be stamping and my hubby will be farming, but we are continually thankful for our freedoms to decide how to spend our days!

Here's a supply list for my Online Store:
