Stampin’ Up! Color Me Autumn Owl Bag for World Cardmaking Day!

Hey there! Quick post today. I'm working on the projects for the free World Cardmaking Day class I'm having here on Saturday. One of the free projects we will be making is this adorable little owl bag:

I received a bag similar to this in a swap at convention this summer. BJ Peters made the original with Flower Pot Designer Paper. I made mine fall-themed with Color Me Autumn Designer Paper.

This project is also part of the Fall Tutorial you can choose to receive via email when you place an order of at least $35 in my Online Store.

Here's the supply list to make today's cute little owl bag. You can order all the supplies (You will need to purchase your own brown 6 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 2" paper bags from your local craft store) listed here in My Online Store:

Stampin’Up! Spooktacular Projects!

Stampin’Up! Spooktacular Projects!

Hey there! Just a quick post today. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, so I don't have much time to chat!

Today I want to finally show you the projects I had prepared for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop earlier this month. My hard drive collapsed on the eve of the hop, so I had to pull out at the last minute. I had my projects ready but not my blog post. When the hard drive went down my pictures went with it. Fortunately I had not deleted the pictures from my camera card. I've been working daily to get my pics in order, a little bit at a time, but it's a daunting and time-consuming project!

Without further ado, here's my Spooktacular Projects:

Stampin_up_spooktacular_projects_3

I used the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper as my jumping-off place for inspiration, as well as brought back from the past the little candy-favor punch spiders!

That's all for now. I'm hosting a free World Cardmaking Day event at my house on Saturday, October 4th. These little kitties and spiders will be just a few of the projects my stampers will get to choose from when they attend. I will be posting the fall-themed projects soon.

Of course, all the supplies for these projects can be purchased in my online store here:  www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Founder’s Circle Style!

Hey there! AS you are reading this I am on my way home from the Founder's Circle Retreat. I'm sorry it's over, but glad to be going home!

For my swap shares today I took some pics of display samples brought to Founder's by demonstrators so I have no idea who the creators are.

First, a gorgeous but easy card with For All Things from the Holiday Catalog:

For All Things again, but with a cool fold:

A merge of Wondrous Wreath with Fall Fest:

Stampin’ Up! Fall Fest and New Weekly Deals!

Stampin’ Up! Fall Fest and New Weekly Deals!

Hey there! Yesterday was a crazy busy day! I had Liam here in the morning, we had lunch at my sister-in-law's in honor of another sister-in-law who had been visiting all weekend, Mark & Logan & I gave blood at the Red Cross blood drive at church, then I took a three hour nap! Whew! I didn't sleep well at all on Saturday night due to too much caffeine and the storm, so I guess I needed it. I even slept all night again last night. Hopefully I'm caught up for a bit!

Liam is here again this morning, so it's all about him right now, but he's watching his favorite, Thomas, so I am sneaking in a little bit of blogging!

Today I mailed 21 of these to my monthly swap lady:

Stampin_up_fall_fest_for_all_things_1 - Copy

I used the soon-available Holiday Catalog sets, Fall Fest and For All Things, with Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey, Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold, Metallic Gold ink, and Linen Thread.

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Tablescape For Our Thanksgiving!

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Tablescape For Our Thanksgiving!

Hey there! Just a quick post today! We are celebrating the day with family. I used the Stampin' Up! Thankful Tablescape Kit to make these for our table today:

Stampin_up_thankful_tablescape_1

I re-purposed some of the designer paper pieces in the kit to cut more leaves with my  Autumn Accents Bigz Die, and added some 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon around the belly-band.

I added a little bit of interest by sponging the leaves with Early Espresso ink.

I am assembling a bunch of these for our Thanksgiving Table so all of the adults and some of the kids have one. It does triple-duty as a napin/silverware holder, a place marker, and a "thankful for" list!

I used the Chalk Marker to write my SIL Debbie's name on the "blackboard".

Even though Thanksgiving will be over later today, you can still order the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit until the end of the Holiday Catalog on January 2nd.
I'm going to order some extra so I can make more as our family grows in the coming year.

Supply List:

Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit #133463 $19.95

Thankful wood stamp #133313 $7.95

Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit & Thankful wood stamp Bundle #133341 $23.95

1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon #132140 $7.95

Autumn Accents Bigz Die #127812 $21.95

Stampin’ Up! Petite Pennants Builder Candy Corn!

Stampin’ Up! Petite Pennants Builder Candy Corn!

Hey there! I've got something super cute to show you today! My hostess in Golconda, IL today wanted a project using the 1" x 8" Cellophane Bags, and she likes punch art, so we are making these:

Candy corn pennants 1
Aren't these little candy corn guys cute?!? I stamped the snowman face from Snow Day on one of the corns and I'm in LOVE!!!!

The other corn I stamped with "it's all about the candy" from Halloween Hello.

The candy corns themselves are 3/4" strips of Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper package and a 3/4" strip of Very Vanilla polka-dot from the Neutrals Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack adhered to a scrap of Very Vanilla, then punched with the Petitie Pennants Builder Punch.

The background of the tag is from the Truly Grateful, cut with the largest Chalk Talk Framelit, then matted with a piece of Early Espresso. I cut the corners of the E.E. layer with my Paper Snips to coordinate with the corners of the Chalk Talk tag.

After filling the 1" x 8" Cellophane Bag with M & M's, (I used a clean drinking straw to poke them down into the bag and get them to lay correctly) I closed the bag with the adhesive strip on the bag and then stapled it to the back of the tag. I covered the staple on the front with a bow tied from 1/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon.

Here's the completed project:

Candy corn pennants 2
This was so easy and so FUN!

These would make great Halloween treats, wouldn't they? To order your cellophane bags, Petite Pennants Builder Punch, and Chalk Talk Framelits, go to my Online Store! You can order just about anything else used on this project there too, except for the M & M's and the stapler!

That's all for today! Thanks so much for stopping in to see what I've been up to! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
