Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stamper Martha Swift’s Stunning But Easy Creations!

Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stamper Martha Swift’s Stunning But Easy Creations!

Hey there! As promised, today I'm sharing the creations my team member, Martha Swift, shared with us at our team meeting earlier this week!

First, a Whisper White Thick card base with a layer of Garden Green. Add a pre-printed card from Santa's Workshop Memories & More Card Pack to a Whisper White layer, then adhere to the Garden Green . Stamp a Mistletoe Season greeting with Garden Green,  then cut with a Stitched Labels Framelit. The Christmas Pines holly was stamped with Garden Green with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels added for the final touch.

Stampin_up_mistletoe_season_carolpaynestamps3

Martha continued with the same layout and another Santa's Workshop Memories & More Card Pack piece, this time using Poppy Parade for the background. Such a stunning but deceptively easy card!

Stampin_up_mistletoe_season_carolpaynestamps4

Martha's favorite background stamp is the Buffalo Check, so she inked it with  Garden Green ink to stamp on Whisper White, then embossed the Whisper White Thick card front with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. LOVE it!

A Real Red version:

And finally, the swap I made from her "shoebox". This one also used a Santa's Workshop Memories & More card:

Stampin_up_mistletoe_season_carolpaynestamps5

These dimensions work for all of these cards:

Whisper White Thick card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored & folded at 4 1/4"

Solid color card stock layer: 4" x 5 1/4"

Whisper White layer: 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Layer to stamp or the Memories & More Card Pack: 3" x 4"

Whisper White to stamp the greeting and cut with the framelit: 3 1/2" x 4"

Stampin’ Up! More Yes Mam! Stampers Holiday Catalog Shoebox Swap!

Stampin’ Up! More Yes Mam! Stampers Holiday Catalog Shoebox Swap!

Hey there! Darcy spent the night, "we r havin' a sleepover!" as she says, so no time to post before bed like I usually do. She's veggin' with some cartoons this morning while I work on this post before we head out for our day. She doesn't know it yet, but she gets to play with a pack of favorite cousins at a favorite aunt's house today! Oh, to be three-and-a-half again!

For our Mam's Team Meeting, Tina Biby used Spirited Snowmen with the Sprig Punch, Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper, and Galvanized Metal Paper to create her swap. The Galvanized Metal Sheet has a "dull shine" to it that is just perfect for this card.

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps2

Inside she used a sentiment from Nature Sings:

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps3

It was easy to stamp the shower of snowflakes around the snowman! I love this look!

Stampin_up_spirited_snowmen_carolpaynestamps4

Next, Linda Reaney combined Dashing Deer with the Woodland and Softly Falling Textured Impressions folders and a snowy tree cut with an In the Woods Framelit.  She punched the greeting with the Tailored Tag Punch.

Stampin_up_dashing_deer_carolpaynestamps2

Angie Lisk is a busy working nurse at two hospitals, but she found time to CASE her swap from Lori Pinto, combining the Winter Woods Bundle with the Merry Christmas to All stamp set:

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps1

The inside sentiment is also from Merry Christmas To All, accompanied by a few stamped-off Winter Woods trees.

Stampin_up_winter_woods_carolpaynestamps2

I have one more shoebox swap to share with you tomorrow by Martha Swift. Martha brought so many examples to choose from, her swap gets a blog post all to itself!

Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stampers Holiday Catalog Shoebox Swap!

Stampin’ Up! Yes Mam! Stampers Holiday Catalog Shoebox Swap!

Hey there! Monday Night I hosted a meeting for my team, the Yes Mam! Stampers.  There were 10 of us stamping, chatting, laughing, and sharing!

43458425_10205412331663305_8739981258760650752_n

The bulk of our meeting was a "shoebox swap". Everyone designed a card, prepped the cardstock, etc., then gathered all of the supplies needed into a "shoebox". We then made each other's cards, having a lot of fun in the process! I'll share half of them today and the rest tomorrow.

First, Angela Black's swap was designed using the Making Christmas Bright Bundle from the Holiday Catalog. We punched a bunch of "petals" with the Christmas Bulb Builder Punch from Wood Textures Designer Paper, then sponged with Crushed Curry ink to create the sunflowers. The sentiment from Love What You Do is stamped directly on an Wood Textures Designer Paper layer:

Stampin_up_making_christmas_bright_carolpaynestamps1

Cathy Lingle created her swap with Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper and the Timeless Tidings stamp set. She embellished with Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine, 5/8" Striped Burlap Trim, and a Galvanized Button, and used the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions folder on the Mossy Meadow card front.

Stampin_up_timeless_tidings_carolpaynestamps1

Finally for today (there will be more swaps tomorrow!) Ruthanne Lewis created an easy little treat pouch with a 6" x 6" piece of designer series paper, then turned it into a sucker-holder simply by snipping a little hole in the bottom for the stick to go through! She used a Detailed with Love sentiment, punched with the Pretty Label Punch.
