Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Alcohol Ink Blending!

Hey there! First, I want to share with you this card I created with the Artistically Inked Bundle (be patient with me, I only have a couple more cards to share with this bundle before I move on to other sets) Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers, and 91% Rubbing Alcohol.

After I blended the scribbled Stampin' Blends (colors are listed below) with 91% Rubbing Alcohol dabbed on the vellum with a simple paintbrush, I added it to a layer of white cardstock with a piece of Adhesive Sheet. I cut Basic Black with an Adhesive Sheet on the back using the intricate Artistic Die. I heat-embossed the greeting with white embossing powder and then cut with a Tasteful Labels die. I added a piece of Black 3/8" Glitter Ribbon, wrapping behind the back of the vellum/white layer.

Inside I used sentiments from both Artistically Inked and Tasteful Touches. I blended Misty Moonlight ink with a Blending Brush.

I learned the Stampin' Blends Alcohol Ink Blending technique from Tina Zinck, a Canadian Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Here's her video showing how to do this technique!

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Pretty Flowers!

Hey there! I seem to be on a birthday card-making kick lately, and it continues today with this Soft Succulent/Basic White version featuring the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder:

I adhered an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Basic White card stock before cutting with the Artistic Die. Adhesive Sheets make adhering intricate die-cuts a snap!

I added subtle color the the embossed Soft Succulent layer (on the left) by rubbing my Versamark ink pad on the negative side of the embossing folder before running through the machine.

I punched one end of the greeting strip with the Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch. Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon and Genial Gems complete the soft, inviting look.

I used another Happiest of Birthdays sentiment inside the card. I used another die-cut as a stencil to add Soft Succulent ink with a Blending Brush to both the inside layer and the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Happiest of Birthdays!

Hey there! I have another Artistically Inked birthday card to share with you today. I combined this bundle with the Happiest of Birthdays set to create this:

I love this big bold greeting from Happiest of Birthdays! I stamped it with Blackberry Bliss ink, then added Fresh Freesia blooms all around with Soft Succulent leaves.

The leaves from the Artistic Dies is so gorgeous! I cut it with Gold Foil, then bent the stems a little extra to fit the 4" width of the card front. I put an Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Gold Foil before running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss to make adhering the leaves to the card a snap!

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Tasteful Touches and a few more Fresh Freesia/Soft Succulent blooms. I used a paper saving trick before adhering the gold foil mat to the stamped layer.

I used a Rectangle Stitched Die to cut out the center of the gold layer. I used the frame behind the inside layer and kept the solid rectangle for a later project!

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Faux Linen!

Hey there! My Artistically Inked card for today features the "Faux Linen" technique! I highlighted Fresh Freesia and Pear Pizzazz for a fresh, spring look!

The faux linen technique is super simple! Stamp the images on a piece of white tissue paper, cut at about 6" x 6" or larger, with regular Stampin' Up Classic ink. Crumple the tissue into a wad, semi-smooth it back out, then adhere to a Basic White layer with liquid glue, leaving some of the wrinkles in the tissue and wrapping the paper around to the back and adhering with more glue or Stampin' Seal.

I cut the greeting and the Pear Pizzazz mat with the same Tasteful Labels Die. I also added an Opal Round for a bit of shine.

Inside I used a Tasteful Touches sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Baby Wipes!

Hey there! I'm back again today with another Artistically Inked birthday card. Today I used the Baby Wipe "swipe" technique to create the background with Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia re-inkers.

After putting drops of Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia on the folded edge of a baby wipe, I swiped it over the Basic White layer in a curving motion several times to cover the layer and create the background. I stamped the bloom in Fresh Freesia and the greeting in Tuxedo Black. I then partially cut with the coordinating Artistic Die, and added the dots stamped with Polished Pink and a Fresh Freesia Playing With Patterns Resin Dot.

To partially cut the flower, I laid it on the cutting platform of my Stampin' Cut & Emboss with the greeting and lower edge of the bloom hanging off the edge so it wouldn't be cut.

After partially cutting, I finished cutting the greeting with my Paper Trimmer and the rest of the bloom with my paper snips.

I mounted the flower/greeting with several Stampin' Dimensionals over the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon.

I used a Peaceful Moments sentiment inside and another swipe with the baby wipe!

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Stenciled!

Hey there! The Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Paper is currently on backorder until June 28th, which means you can still order it but it won't ship to you until after that date.

With that in mind, I thought you might enjoy seeing some cards created with just the Artistically Inked Bundle to give you some ideas to use while you wait for your specialty paper to ship!

I created today's card with a stencil I cut with one of the Artistic Dies.

I used a Blending Brush with Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, and Granny Apple Green ink to blend color over the stencil in more than one area of the Basic White layer.

I cut the flower and leaves with Artistic dies, adding a Coastal Cabana Playing With Patterns Resin Dot and Clear Wink of Stella to the bloom.

I used the same Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to the greeting strip and then added a scallop edge cut with a Penned Flower die.

Inside I used one of my favorite Peaceful Moments sentiments.
