Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance CASEing Myself!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you a card that I CASE'd (Copy And Selectively Edit) from myself! I was stamping up some leftover class kits when I decided to change the card a bit using most of the original supplies. I liked it so well I knew I needed to share it with you!

My original card on the left used the Butterfly Brilliance bundle of stamps and dies, Peaceful Moments and Dragonfly Garden stamps, and the Basic Patterns Decorative Masks with both White Craft and Balmy Blue Ink.

I kept the same basic layout and stamps for my CASE, but instead of using the mask and a Blending Brush, I stamped part of the Butterfly Brilliance background image with White Craft ink, then heat embossed with White Powder.

I added Elegant Gems to the butterfly bodies just like I did in the original.

Since I will be packaging most of these up to offer at my next Craft Fair, I decided to leave the inside free of any sentiment so they can be used for multiple occasions.

Stampin’ Up! Masculine Mountain Air!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the card I created for my monthly mail-in swap. One of our choices for this month was to make a masculine birthday card, so I used the Mountain Air and Stacked Stone stamp sets with sentiments from Sweet Strawberry to create this:

After I decided the stamp set I wanted to use, then I looked through the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack and chose this textile design that is sort of Night of Navy but almost Basic Black or Basic Gray. I decided to use Basic Gray card stock and ink and Smoky Slate card stock for the Neutral to stamp the focal image and inside layer.

I cut the focal image layer with a Seasonal Labels die, as well as the Stacked Stone-stamped layer underneath it. I stamped the mountains first with Basic Gray, cleaned the stamp, then stamped just the tops of the mountains with White Craft Ink. I stamped the moon with White Craft as well, then added sparkle with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. The greeting is from Sweet Strawberry.

Inside I repeated the same stamping process for the mountains and moon, then stamped the sentiment from Sweet Strawberry, omitting the rest of the words, "you sweet thing" by cleaning off the ink with a baby wipe before stamping.

Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty Nature’s Harvest!

Hey there! Today I have another birthday card to share with you! This time it is the card I created for my daughter, Alisa's birthday that we also celebrated this past weekend. I used the Nature's Harvest Bundle with Blackberry Beauty Specialty Paper to create this fun-fold card. I am including the dimensions for this card near the bottom of this post:

I inked the cone flower image with Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, and Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Write Markers to stamp on Very Vanilla. I then colored the petals with a Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends and the stems and leaves with a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend. I went back over the stems and leaves with a Light Soft Suede Stampin' Blend. I love how especially the Light versions of the Stampin' Blends Markers have an opaque look to them that lets you layer colors to get a new color you need but don't have any other way! After cutting them out with a Harvest Die I added Clear Wink of Stella to the cone flower tops for a bit of shimmer.

I used my Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Write Marker on this sentiment from Quiet Meadow to omit the words to leave just "Heartfelt love" for stamping.

The final sentiment is from Sunny Sentiments, also stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.

I had fun putting this card together! I want to give this fun fold a try with a Christmas theme!

I used my Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Write Marker on this sentiment from Quiet Meadow to omit the words to leave just "Heartfelt love" for stamping.

The final sentiment is from Sunny Sentiments, also stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.

I had fun putting this card together! I want to give this fun fold a try with a Christmas theme!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the card I made for Ivory's 5th birthday party with the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper:

I used a greeting from Best Year for the front, accented with a strip of Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum from the In Color Shimmer Vellum pack and a Polished Pink In Color Jewel.

I used Layering Circles dies to cut the opening on the card front and the layers behind and around the intricately die-cut butterfly. I cut the pink layer from Polished Pink In Color Shimmer Vellum and added Polished Pink In Color Jewels for some bling.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Best Year. The Blushing Bride animal print from the Pattern Party Host Designer pack compliments well with the Polished Pink!

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Pumpkins!

Hey there! Every year since Grace became part of our family, actually even before, I have created her birthday card with either a coffee or a pumpkin theme, or both. This year I used the Pretty Pumpkins bundle of stamps and dies with Hand Penned Designer Paper to create this:

I stamped directly on the Pale Papaya polka-dotted Hand Penned designer paper with Versamark, then heat embossed with gold powder. I cut the pumpkin out with a Detailed Pumpkins die. I also stamped directly on the Mint Macaron striped Hand Penned paper to gold heat emboss the leaves and vines. There are Detailed Pumpkins dies to cut out these too!

I cut the lacy pumpkin from Gold Foil with another Detailed Pumpkins die before adhering to the card with tiny dots of liquid glue. The other pumpkin and vines are adhered with either Mini Stampin' Dimensionals or glue dots.

We truly are thankful for Grace joining our family 2 1/2 years ago, so this sentiment is perfect! I accented the card front with a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Inside I heat embossed another Pretty Pumpkins sentiment and group of pumpkins. I embossed the same on the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies!

Hey there! Today's card was inspired by several different cards I've seen lately while browsing Pinterest. It always helps to look at other crafter's work for inspiration when your own is running low! I used Painted Poppies with white heat embossing and Gilded Gems to create this:

I adhered strips of Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, and Soft Suede to a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Basic White before stamping with Versamark and heat embossing with white powder. I used a sentiment from Best Year for the birthday greeting. I finished off the card front with randomly placed Gilded Gems.

Inside I stamped the companion sentiment from Best Year with Flirty Flamingo and stamped the bloom with Coastal Cabana.

I stamped the envelope with the same bloom and inks.

A quick and easy, yet striking, birthday card!
