Stampin’ Up! New Annual Catalog Launched!

Hey there! Welcome to my refreshed blog! I've been away from regular blogging for more than a year (maybe almost two? I'm afraid to look) but in spite of that several of you have still been checking on me and ordering from me, and for that I am grateful.

LOTS of stuff, good and bad, has been happening in my life during this time, including my youngest daughter and her family of 9 (she and her hubby, plus 7 kiddos) lived with us for almost a year and a half. The experience was both extremely good, (I loved spending that much time with my grandchildren!) but while not bad, it was stressful at times. I was just too distracted to stamp much, let alone blog.

The family has been moved into their newly-built home since September, and after a busy holiday season and babysitting schedule for some of my additional grandchildren, I am finally ready to get back to stamping more and sharing with you. I had my 19 year-old granddaughter, Ava, create my blog refresh, and I am excited to share it and the 2025/26 New Annual Catalog with you!

By now most of you who have been ordering from me during the past year should have received your copy. Stampin' Up! mails them for me, but they do use Bulk Rate, so I am aware some of you are still looking for yours in your mailbox. If you have not received yours from me, please just comment here on the blog or send me an email: carol@carolpaynestamps.com

You can also comment below or email me with your "MUST HAVES ASAP" from the catalog. I can help you set up your online account in my store if you don't have one already. When you do go to place your order, be sure to click the "Get Started" box that will come up when you first enter your account. Stampin' Up! recently changed their Rewards Program from "Host Rewards" to "Rewards for Everyone". This means anytime your order is at least $20 you will start earning Rewards in the amount of 10%. Your Rewards will be kept safely in your online account until you are ready to use them (each reward expires one year after you place the order) You can use them as you go or save them up for a big order, it's all up to you! So many of my stampers are excited about being able to benefit from their own orders! While I will still be doing workshops and stamping classes, now everyone will get to benefit from their own orders.

This card is pretty easy. I used both dry embossing with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine as well as heat embossing using Versamark, Basics Embossing Powder, and the Heat Tool.

I used the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection found on pages 52-57 of the New Annual Catalog. Have you seen this beautiful suite?

I have included in the Product List below all of the possible supplies you can order to create this card. You will not need to order everything on the list, just what you want. Stampin’ Up! Flowering Rain Boots Punched!

Hey there! I played with the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set again and came up with this thinking of you card using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and the Tailored Tag Punch!

I used Just Jade, Bumblebee, and Cinnamon Cider, all soon-to-be-retiring In Colors for my color palette. I did a little bit of masking on the seed-packet rectangle, punching all four focal images with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch!

After stamping and punching the greeting layer, I pressed the edges onto the Just Jade ink pad to give it the look of another layer. After I adhered over the Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon using Stampin' Dimensionals, I added a few 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems (which will also be retiring by the end of April)

The inside sentiment is also from Flowering Rain Boots. I don't know who needs this card, but I've got it ready when they do!

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow!

Hey there! Quiet Meadow is perfect for collage-style stamping. I used this bundle of stamps and dies to create some "Thinking of You" cards to use for both a "get well" type card and a sympathy.

I used stamped-off once and sometimes twice Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, and Blushing Bride for my collage-stamped background. After heat embossing the greeting with white powder I cut it out with a Meadow die. I added gold Metallic Pearls for more interest.

The majority of the Meadow dies are stand-alone, which means they don't coordinate with an image in the Quiet Meadow stamp set. I used one of them to cut Pear Pizzazz card stock to create the floral piece I glued over the floral image I stamped with full-strength Crumb Cake.

I tied Linen Thread into a double bow and added with a glue dot.

Everything on the inside is also from Quiet Meadow.
