Stampin’ Up! Boughs & Blossoms!

Hey there! Today's card is a CASE from a Boughs & Blossoms card found on page 26 of the January/June Mini Catalog! One of my stampers wanted to know how to make it, so I made it myself so I can show it to her at our next class together. This card uses the Boughs & Blossoms stamp set, Bough Punch (as a bundle to save 10%), and white heat embossing!

I punched So Saffron, Balmy Blue, and Blushing Bride card stock and the same colors plus Pear Pizzazz designer paper with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to create the bases for each are on the card front.

The greeting is white heat-embossed on a scrap of Pear Pizzazz, then trimmed with Paper Snips. The white leaves and blooms are punched with the Bough punch and then added to the card with Mini Glue Dots.

Other images from Boughs & Blossoms are white heat-embossed on the various subtle card stock colors.

Inside is all stamped with more Boughs & Blossoms images.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Rain Boots Punched!

Hey there! I played with the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set again and came up with this thinking of you card using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and the Tailored Tag Punch!

I used Just Jade, Bumblebee, and Cinnamon Cider, all soon-to-be-retiring In Colors for my color palette. I did a little bit of masking on the seed-packet rectangle, punching all four focal images with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch!

After stamping and punching the greeting layer, I pressed the edges onto the Just Jade ink pad to give it the look of another layer. After I adhered over the Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon using Stampin' Dimensionals, I added a few 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems (which will also be retiring by the end of April)

The inside sentiment is also from Flowering Rain Boots. I don't know who needs this card, but I've got it ready when they do!

Stampin’ Up! Healing Hugs!

Hey there! I needed to make a Get Well card last week for a dear friend who found out she had a heart attack. She's a little younger than me (I'm 60) so of course I was a bit shocked. She's actually feeling much better now that the stent is in. She didn't realize that some of her symptoms were symptoms of a heart attack, but she should be fine now!

I'm hoping she gets her card in the mail before she sees it here on my blog, but it turned out so lovely I just can't wait any longer to share it! I actually made two, which takes only a little longer than making one, so I would have one to display!

I used Healing Hugs with Gorgeous Grape, Mint Macaron, and Whisper White for my color palette.

It's hard to capture with a camera, but I added Clear Wink of Stella to the fancy-cut bloom!

I tied a bit of Flowers For Every Season Ribbon in a bow and added it with a glue dot. The ribbon is Just Jade, but a softer version that I think blends well with Mint Macaron.

The "Get Well Soon" greeting from Healing Hugs fits perfect inside the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch! I discovered the perfect sequin in the Whale Of A Time Sequins pack!
