Stampin’ Up! Saturday Swap Day A Little Bit More Fall!

Stampin’ Up! Saturday Swap Day A Little Bit More Fall!

Hey there! The leaves are in their best color right now, and I can see a bit of brilliance right out my window. Thank you, Lord, for fall! Today I have fall swaps for you!

First, Sue Scheets used the Marbling technique with Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow reinkers:

Marbling Technique:

Cut very vanilla leaves. Put a few drops of reinker in a flat, plastic container. Add a few small marbles. Gently roll the marbles in the reinker to pick up ink. Add the  leaves to the container.Gently roll the marbles around so the marbles "stamp" the color on the leaves. Remove leaves and rinse reinker from container and dry. Add another ink color to the container. Repeat process until you achieve the look.

Laura Milligan used Lighthearted Leaves, Woodland folder, and Bermuda Bay with silver accents for a soothing look.

A 2 1/2" Smoky Slate circle from the Neutrals Designer Series Stack, a strip of Bermuda Bay from the Brights Designer Series Stack, a Silver Metallic Foil Doily, a Rhinestone, and subtle splatter stamping with Smoky Slate ink and Gorgeous Grunge complete the look!

Carol Slack combined the Woodland Folder, birds and leaves from Among the Branches, the fox from Thankful Forest Friends, and a greeting from Build A Birthday:

Finally, Jackie Ordway used the Woodland folder with Into the Woods Designer Paper and Six Sayings, embellishing the corners of the greeting layer with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

The addition of an Into the Woods Element and Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Cotton Ribbon is a perfectly simple accent:

Jenn Gulch also used Thankful Forest Friends and Into the Woods paper for her Corner Flip Card swap:

Katina Martinez' swap isn't actually fall-themed, but I love how she stamped the wreath from the Circle of Spring on vellum, colored with markers, and accented with punched Itty Bitty Accents flowers. After cutting with the Wonderful Wreath framelit, she mounted on a Whisper White Brick Wall-embossed layer. The Basic Black background was embossed with the Lovely Lace folder.

I also love her fresh color combo of Whisper White, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, and Calypso Coral:

Finally, Tamie Ackerson chose Vintage Leaves for her swap. After stamping with Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, and Cajun Craze on the coordinating card stocks, she cut with the Leaflets framelits, then spritzed with alcohol and crumpled each leaf before adding to her creation with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon gives an earthy feel. Tamie even tied a few of the threads from the ribbon around the leaf stem.
