Stampin’ Up! Retiring Inspired By Nature Misted Markers Technique!

Stampin’ Up! Retiring Inspired By Nature Misted Markers Technique!

Good Morning Stampers! How is your weekend going? Mine is going good!

How about another technique? This one combines "emboss resist" with a fun technique I call "Misted Markers":

Isn't this gorgeous? There are a few more steps than yesterday's technique, but well worth it, don't you think?

LOTS of retiring products on this card:

*"Inspired By Nature" Stamp Set (coneflowers)

*"Short & Sweet" Stamp Set (wish big)

*"Charming" Stamp Set (clear-embossed background words)

    *3/8" Twill Tape

And the inside:

"Inspired By Nature" flowers again, along with:

*"Charming" Stamp Set (scrolly frame)

*"You're a Gem" Stamp Set (Friend)

Contact me to order any of these retiring products before May 31st!

I will be back tomorrow morning with the third and final May technique! Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox!" Day!

Stampin’Up! Summer Smooches!

Stampin’Up! Summer Smooches!

Good Morning Monday!  Did you enjoy your Easter Weekend? We sure did!  After church yesterday morning we had a fun family day at our house with just about everyone in our family, including Mark's Mom! Big Sunday dinner (a ham!), Easter Egg Hunt outside (it was a cool but not cold day!), all of us girls played dominos with Mark's Mom (one of her favorite games), watched Maddie Kate do toe-touches and backflips in the yard while the other kids swinged (or is it swang?) in the tree swings in our yard, played and loved on Jaxon, our littlest grandson (littlest one for now!), played a family kickball game (we have enough people to field two teams and everyone played, except Kimberly, who is 5 1/2 months pregnant, and Jaxon), a pull-everything back out of the fridge for supper meal, then played a new game, "Dicecapades"!

On Saturday I finished up the rest of the projects for the Punch and Technique Classes this week. Here's a punch one using products from Stampin' Up!'s April Sneak Peek, Summer Smooches!

Stampin’Up! Herringbone Technique!

Stampin’Up! Herringbone Technique!

I'm still working on the projects for next week's Punch/Technique Class. The next technique we will be learning, along with the VersaShadow and Embossed Kissing, is the Herringbone technique, a great way to use up all of those little scraps of DSP we all have piling up! This technique is also another great use for the MultiPurpose Adhesive Sheets!

Herringbone 1
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

This card used the Woodgrain Background stamp, and a stamp from the Occasions Mini set, Loved Ones!

Herringbone 2
©Stampin'Up!™1990-2012

This set also contains this "Happy Birthday" stamp, as one of the 12 total in the set! Makes it easy to customize your card for just about any family member! The other 10 stamps in the set are:

GRANDSON

Come to class next week on the 10th in Galatia or at my house on the 14th and learn this cool technique plus the other two! Just RSVP to me you are coming!

Good Morning!

Good Morning!

Good morning Stampers!

So sorry for the late posting this morning, once in awhile things just do not go as planned, do they?

Here's another "punched glitter" technique card, only this time I used the Big Shot Framelits to cut out the "Apothecary Art" image!

This picture doesn't do the glitteriness justice, but you can get the idea! We are making this card at my workshop in Marion tonight! I get to stamp with these lovely ladies almost every month and I can't wait!

Well, I'd better run and get the rest of my projects for tonight all packed up!

Until tomorrow, have a "Stampingrox!" Day
