Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day, a Mix!

Hey there! Today is Sunday Swap Day, the day I share great inspiration from swaps I receive monthly! Today I have a fun mix of cards, starting with the Sale-a-bration's So Hoppy Together!

Linda Pagel created a fun slider card with So Hoppy Together and Picture Perfect Birthday! So Hoppy Together is a limited-edition set that you can choose as your free item when you place a $50 order in my online store, but only until March 31st!

When you pull the ribbon, the tag slides out and reveals another greeting behind the frog! "Happy Birthday" is from the Perennial Birthday set.

Next, Lisa Marie Smith used the Occasions catalog set, Flowering Desert, dragging her inkpads over the background for an easy "desert-ish" look!

Cindy Ewertz also used Flowering Desert, adding a bit of Gold Metallic Thread for some shine!

All of the sentiments Cindy used are part of the Flowering Desert set!

Finally, Lori Mueller heat-embossed a sentiment from Strong & Beautiful on a Night of Navy circle to really "pop" against the strips of Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper!

Stampin’ Up! No Cards to Share Today!

Hey there! You read the title right, no card today, but I want to share with you a new blogging schedule starting today. Honestly, I've realized I need to be a more gentle on myself. For the past several years I've held myself to a rigid schedule of blogging every day. With the exception of Sunday Swap Days I only share my original work. Original creations will continue, just the schedule of blogging is changing.

Creating every day, then photographing, editing, watermarking, writing a tutorial, and the blog post, can be exhausting. Some nights I've been falling asleep while my fingers are typing! God has been whispering in my heart that I needed to make some changes, but I didn't know what to change. I've been praying for guidance and He answered. I don't ever want to resist the Lord's direction.

I'm still doing workshops for my stamping friends and classes in my home. None of that will change, only my blogging schedule.

For now, I will share my creations on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and continue Sunday Swap Days. I don't know how long I will continue this schedule, but rest assured I am not quitting paper crafting!

I love to stamp and I love my job as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I love my customers (stamping friends, really!) and I love the girls on my team, the Yes Mam! Stampers.

I love you, my blog readers. I hope you will understand why I need to make this change and will check back with me regularly. I appreciate your willingness to come by my little piece of the blogging world to see what I have to share.

Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful for Mother’s Day!

Hey there! Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card. It's always good to have those cards ready in advance because inspiration doesn't always strike when we need it, does it?

I used by Stamparatus to stamp "Happy Mother's Day" from the Occasions Catalog set, Strong & Beautiful, eight times on the front layer. The Stamparatus comes in handy any time you need to stamp repetitively!

I used a Rose Trellis framelit to cut out two roses, one from Pear Pizzazz and another from Powder Pink. I cut away the pink leaves, then used a Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere the bloom over the Pear Pizzazz one. I also used Fine Tip Glue to adhere the entire piece to the card.

I used more Rose Trellis thinlits to cut the leaves for the corners.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Strong & Beautiful. The blooms in the bottom corner are from the Climbing Roses set. I colored the blooms with my Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend.

I don't have my mom anymore, but hope this will help you have one ready for your's.

Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful for Mother’s Day!

Hey there! Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card. It's always good to have those cards ready in advance because inspiration doesn't always strike when we need it, does it?

I used more Rose Trellis thinlits to cut the leaves for the corners.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Strong & Beautiful. The blooms in the bottom corner are from the Climbing Roses set. I colored the blooms with my Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend.

I don't have my mom anymore, but hope this will help you have one ready for your's.

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Cheer!

Hey there! I finally got a chance to play with the Birthday Cheer Bundle yesterday! I love everything about this bundle of stamps and edgelit dies, from the great mixed fonts of the sentiments to the cupcakes! Who doesn't love cupcakes?

I paired the cut-out cupcakes with How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper, Celebrate You Thinlits, and Basic Black for a really striking card!

I also used my favorite easel fun fold!

I added Twinkle Adhesive-backed sequins for instant shine!

After cutting the cupcakes with a Detailed Birthday Edgelits Die, I layered over the How Sweet It Is Designer Paper.

I layered four "YOU's" together with liquid glue before adding to the bottom inside of the card with slivers of Stampin' Dimensionals. This creates the easel "stop".

I used Tuxedo Black and Melon Mambo to stamp the inside and the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Fable Friends!

Hey there! Even though it's technically still winter and spring is still more than two weeks away, I decided it was time to share a fun spring card with you created with the Fable Friends stamp set!

I colored this adorable little fellow with my Stampin' Blends Markers. See my project supply list for the specific colors!

I stamped the daisy petals with the Daisy Delight stamp set and punched with the Daisy Punch. I added a Gold Faceted Gem to the center.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Promenade Teapot!

Hey there! Stampin' Up! added another set of Sale-a-bration freebies this month! Wow! Today's card is created with TWO new selections, Petal Promenade Designer Paper and Pearlized Doilies, as well as the Tea Time Framelits!

The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper contains photo-realistic prints of gorgeous blooms on one side and subtle marbled designs on the other!

I used stamped-off Smoky Slate ink on the Crackle Paint background to prepare the Whisper White card stock before cutting with the Tea Time Framelit. I used Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers to color the rose and the leaves. See my project supply list and downloadable stamping instructions for more about that! I added half of a Pearlized Doily below the teapot. The doilies are reversible, with the pearlized look on one side and an inkable white on the other.

I used sentiments from Life is Grand on the inside and the out.
