Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy Mambos for Ben!

Hey there! Yesterday we celebrated our family's August Birthdays (there are SIX birthdays in August!) with a dinner, gifts, and dessert at our house! My card today was created with the Wildly Happy stamps set for my youngest son, Ben!

You might be wondering about the word "Mambos" in today's blog title. When Ben was a little guy, two to three years old, he fell in love with the Dumbo movie. His word for all elephants was "Mambo"!

When I found the mama & baby elephant image in the Wildly Happy set I KNEW I had to make Ben's birthday card with them! I used one of my favorite fun-folds, the easel!

Aren't they sweet?!

I heat embossed all of the images and sentiments on this card with black Stampin' Emboss Powder.

Then I "fancy cut" (aka as fussy cut!) with my Paper Snips.

I used Stitched Rectangle dies to create the frame and cut the sentiments.

I used two Stitched Rectangles in one pass through the die-cutting machine to create the frame.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Seasons Easter Wishes!

Hey there! Counting today, Sale-a-bration ends in just three days! boo! I still have a few cards created with the awesome Painted Seasons stamp set I need to share with you before you can't choose this set, bundled with the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, anymore!

I used the same Rock n' Roll technique I used on another Painted Seasons card I shared a few days ago HERE.

I also stamped "WISHES" from the More Than Words stamp set with Highland Heather ink, then stamped "Easter" over it with black ink. More Than Words, from the Sale-a-bration Coordination flyer, will be going away on March 31st too!

The Gorgeous Grape 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon bow and rhinestones are the perfect finishing touches to the Story Label Punched greeting!

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Cheer!

Hey there! I finally got a chance to play with the Birthday Cheer Bundle yesterday! I love everything about this bundle of stamps and edgelit dies, from the great mixed fonts of the sentiments to the cupcakes! Who doesn't love cupcakes?

I paired the cut-out cupcakes with How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper, Celebrate You Thinlits, and Basic Black for a really striking card!

I also used my favorite easel fun fold!

I added Twinkle Adhesive-backed sequins for instant shine!

After cutting the cupcakes with a Detailed Birthday Edgelits Die, I layered over the How Sweet It Is Designer Paper.

I layered four "YOU's" together with liquid glue before adding to the bottom inside of the card with slivers of Stampin' Dimensionals. This creates the easel "stop".

I used Tuxedo Black and Melon Mambo to stamp the inside and the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Wood Textures Painted Seasons!

Hey there! I created today's cards with the Painted Seasons Sale-a-bration Bundle, Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions (Sale-a-bration), Crackle Paint Background, and Humming Along!

I stamped the Very Vanilla layer with Crackle Paint, embossed with Country Floral folder, then sponged with Crumb Cake to pop the raised images.

I stamped the bloom with Crumb Cake, cut with a Four Seasons framelit (available on March 1st), sponging with Crumb Cake. I added Copper Foil accents, to match the Very Vanilla/Copper 1/8" Tea Room Ribbon.

I stamped the Humming Along greeting directly on the Wood Textures layer with black ink, then added a rhinestone colored with a Bronze Stampin' Blend.

Inside I stamped Crackle Paint again, added more blooms and a Part of My Story sentiment.

Another version with Coastal Cabana accents to match the Coastal Cabana/copper 1/8" Tea Room Ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! Wood Textures Painted Seasons!

Stampin’ Up! Tea Together Teapot!

Hey there! I've been playing with the Tea Room stamps from the Occasions Catalog and the Tea Time Framelits that you can get for free with a $100 order from the Sale-a-bration catalog! Take a look:

I stamped the teapot on this gorgeous piece of Tea Room Specialty paper. It's thinner than our regular designer paper, so you get twice an many sheets in each pack. I cut it out with a Tea Time Framelit, then adhered to the front of a Delightfully Detailed Note Card.

The greeting is from the Sale-a-bration set, Part of My Story, and accented with tiny butterflies from Needle & Thread.

I tied the gorgeous Very Vanilla 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle in a little bow.

I punched an opening for the ribbon in the spine of the card with a Bitty Blooms Punch Pack Punch.

The inside of the note cards are white, so I stamped the sentiment and butterflies on a layer of Very Vanilla.
