Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Sunday Night!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Sunday Night!

Hey there! I've been gone all day attending my dearest cousin's retirement party. (She's been a teacher for 35 years, so now I'm starting to feel old!) This is my first opportunity today to get on here to blog

First, Audra Moncur used her Coastal Cabana Blendabilities to color the Blended Bloom image:

Stampin_up_blended_bloom

The greeting is from Petite Pairs and the embossing folder used is Beautifully Baroque.

Next, Jackie Ordway used a new hostess set, Bloom With Hope, the Moonlight Designer Paper Stack, and the Decorative Dots embossing folder to create a belly band around this sympathy card:

Stampin_up_bloom_with_hope_1

The inside sentiment is included in Bloom With Hope too:

Stampin_up_bloom_with_hope_2

Lastly, Rene Watson, used Lullaby Designer Paper and the new Num-Num stamp set for her creation:

Stampin_up_num_num

The colors are Hello Honey, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar, and Whisper White. She used the Starburst Framelits for the Coastal Cabana layer behind the greeting, and new Coastal Cabana Thick Baker's Twine.

That's all for now. The new catalog actually starts TOMORROW at noon! Swoon! I can't wait! Demonstrators were able to pre-order from a selected offering of products on May 1st (hence the new sets used on these cards), but tomorrow all limits are off and we can order anything we want! yay!

If you need a catalog of your own, please let me know.

To place an order, just click HERE. I will send you a thank you and you will receive a Bluesox token for every $25 you spend. When you collect 12 Bluesox tokens you can  redeem them with me for a free $19.95 catalog product.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Work of Art with Blackberry Bliss!

Stampin’ Up! Work of Art with Blackberry Bliss!

Hey there! Just a quick post as I am making my final preparations for my New Catalog Premiere Open House today and Saturday.

Today I'm sharing the Make n' Take using the fab new catalog set, Work of Art, and the yummy new In Color, Blackberry Bliss! Yes, all the shades of purple are from the same inkpad! I just inked once, stamped full strength, stamped a second time without reinking, then "breathed" on the stamp before the third and fourth stamping. Delish!

Stampin_up_blackberry_bliss_1

The Blackberry Bliss cardstock, ink, and 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon are all NEW products, as well as the Work of Art stamp set and the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad, which will be available mid-summer along with the Stampin' Blendabilites markers for my greeting and sentiment stamping. Can I just say it's my favorite black ink EVER?! You are going to love it too, I'm sure. It's crisp, clean, dark, and doesn't smear! yay!

I added individual sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim with glue dots for the perfect final accent!

Stampin_up_work_of_art_blackberry_bliss_2
There's not much to put on a supply list because most of the products will not be available to order online until June 2nd, but I will try to edit this post on the 2nd to add them.

This is one of two new In Color combos my stamping friends will have to choose from. Which color do you think is the alternate choice? Come back tomorrow to find out!

Until then, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Cruise Swaps Part 1!

Stampin’ Up! Cruise Swaps Part 1!

Hey there! I've been steadily working on my preparations for my New Catalog Open House this coming weekend, so I'm going to share a few more of my Cruise swaps while we are waiting for the new Catalog to start:

Stampin_up_by_the_tide_1

By the Tide with Apothecary Accents framelits to create the "windows", a Starburst framelit to frame the anchor medallion, and the Chevron Textured Impressions Folder for texture. Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake enhance the nautical feel, as does the Linen Thread which is reminiscent of fishing nets. Susan Rodgers created this card.

Stampin_up_by_the_tide_spinner

By the Tide was used for this card also, but the creator used the Circle framelits to make the track for the "spinner" to follow for a Spinner Card by Nancy Juliano.

Stampin_up_envelope_album_1

Retiring Epic Day This & That Desginer Paper was combined with Crumb Cake Envelopes, Epic Day Washi Tape, Subtles Buttons, and White Bakers Twine to create this fun mini-album!

Stampin_up_envelope_album_2

A nautical theme was followed for this project, only this time The Open Sea stamp set was used.

Stampin_up_envelope_album_3

Completely open reveals space to journal or add a picture with inner pockets for more memory-keeping. A European demo named "Katia" made this one!

That's all for now. I'm still fighting this allergy-driven sinus infection, so I must head to bed.

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Sunday Swap Day, on Monday!

Stampin’Up! Sunday Swap Day, on Monday!

Hey there! My weekend got pretty filled up with family time and prepping for family time. My hubby and kids ordered the new sectional I wanted for Mother's Day, but I needed to do some carpet cleaning and re-arranging before it arrived. Here's the result after giving away two couches and a piano:

Sectional

I must admit because of the DDOS atacks on the Typepad platform lately it has been hard to stay focused on blogging. I apologize for the interruptions and my lack of posts. I plan to continue blogging no matter what, so don't give up on me.

Here are my Sunday Swap Day swaps, on Monday!

Friends Who Know, a new catalog stamp, by Stella MacKay:

Stampin_up_friends_who_know_stella_mackay

Work of Art. I'm not sure who is the creator of this card, but I love it!

Stampin_up_work_of_art_janet_wakelend

Everything Eleanor and Petite Petals by Patty Chenail:

Stampin_up_everything_eleanor_patty chenail

So Very Happy by BJ Peters:

Stampin_up_mixed_bunch_bj_peters

Lee Conrey's swap was pretty special. She donates her retired swap fronts to an organization for exceptional adults. They turn her swap fronts into notebooks. Lee purchased the books from the organization to give to us as her swap. What a great idea to support them from both ends! Lee does charity stamping functions monthly and has built her business upon giving back to others. Lee lives in Florida, but because of Stampin' Up! I am so blessed to know her.

Lee conrey

Here's the contact info of the organization:

Lee conrey two

That's all for now. Just one week left before we can order from the new catalog, and just four more sleeps until my New Catalog Premiere Open House! yay!

The Retired List Blowout Sale is still going on! If you haven't checked it out yet, go to my Online Store HERE!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Retro Regarding Dahlias!

Stampin’ Up! Retro Regarding Dahlias!

Hey there. So sorry you were unable to view my blog Monday. Typepad was experiencing another DDOS attack by Internet pirates. They have the issue resolved for the moment, but I'm afraid they probably aren't done trying.

Today's card has a very "retro" feel to it:

Stampin_up_regarding_dahlias_1

The Crushed Curry, dry embossed vellum, and gold embossing reminds me of the "Harvest Gold" appliances from my childhood home!

Stampin_up_regarding_dahllias_2

I gold heat-embossed the dahlia 4 times on cardstock vellum, then cut the largest layer with a die from the Floral Frames Framelits, then punched the remaining three layers with the Blossom punch, the Pansy Punch, and the Boho Blossoms Punch. A Vintage Faceted Button glue-dotted to the center finishes it off.

Stampin_up_regarding_dahlias_3

Inside I gold embossed the Occasions Catalog stamp "People Like You" for the sentiment.

That's all for now. I'm going to get off of here as quickly as possible before the pirates come back!

Here's your shopping list for this card in my Online Store:
