Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace Bundle!

Hey there! I used A Little Lace bundle and sponge brayers to create two cards at the same time!

I cut Whisper White with the large Stitched Lace die, then cut the scallops with the smaller die.

I used the lace layer over another white layer as a stencil, then rolled four sponge brayers: Seaside Spray, Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, and Night of Navy.

Two layers for two different cards!

I put the stencil on a Blueberry Bushel card base, then added a sentiment.

I stamped-off Seaside Spray ink for the flowers, cut with a Stitched Labels Die, then added a Blueberry Bushel sentiment.

I colored the ribbon with a Dark Seaside Spray Stampin' Blend Marker.

My second card is a contrast to the first!

Lighter and more delicate!

I colored a Frosted Clear Epoxy Droplet with the Seaside Spray Stampin' Blend for a bit more color.

Love this sentiment! We all have that one friend, don't we?

Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace Bundle!

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Fun Fold!

Hey there! I'm back-tracking just a little bit today to show you another card I created with Verdant Garden. This card uses a fold I can only call a "fun-fold" because if it has a name I don't know what it is! lol!

I'm really enjoying this color combo: Soft Seafoam, Rococo Rose, and Whisper White. After stamping the vines on both front panels with Pear Pizzazz ink, I embossed them with the Subtle 3-D folder.

I added stamped-off Pear Pizzazz vines to the greeting I cut out with a Stitched Label Die. I colored some White 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon with a Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend to match.

Inside I used the same Beautiful Bouquet greeting as before, stamped with Rococo Rose ink and surrounded by stamped-off Pear Pizzazz vines.

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Fun Fold!

I'm really enjoying this color combo: Soft Seafoam, Rococo Rose, and Whisper White. After stamping the vines on both front panels with Pear Pizzazz ink, I embossed them with the Subtle 3-D folder.

I added stamped-off Pear Pizzazz vines to the greeting I cut out with a Stitched Label Die. I colored some White 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon with a Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend to match.

Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes Emboss Resist Birthday!

Hey there! Today I am sharing the second card I created with Dandelion Wishes and Broadway Birthday! This time I used a true Emboss Resist technique with white heat embossing and Sponge Brayers. I like the bolder look of the white embossing powder in contrast with the brayered Real Red and Blueberry Bushel inks!

After I brayered the colors over the embossed "fireworks", I rubbed over the piece with a kleenex to remove excess ink from the embossing. This helps make the white explosions really pop!

I also heat embossed the greeting from Broadway Birthday.

These two sentiments are also from Broadway Birthday. I chose to leave the middle white, and I really like it!

This card is actually an easel-fold, but the wind was blowing when I was taking the pics and the ones of it standing as an easel were too blurry! So imagine, if you will, the "Hooray"" as the easel stop.

I used the same emboss-resist technique on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat for Christmas In July!

Hey there! I made my first Christmas card for 2019 yesterday in preparation for Christmas in July! yay! I used a new Annual Catalog set called Rustic Retreat, pairing it with the carried-over Buffalo Check background. I chose Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla for a warm and cozy look!

I heat embossed the deer image with white powder on the Soft Suede focal image layer.

I tied a bit of 1/4" Copper Trim to a Bird Ballad Trinket to embellish, then pulled the fibers apart to give it bow-like look!

Sponging with Soft Suede ink makes everything just a little more warm & cozy!

This card is my favorite easel-fold.

Inside:

I used the Spotlighting technique to create the easel-stop.

I really love this card, and Rustic Retreat!
