Stampin’ Up! Happy New Year Happy New Catalog!

Hey there! I've been MIA for awhile, busy with Christmas and after Christmas festivities with my husband's family. With the advent of the New 2020 Spring Mini Catalog it's definitely time to get back into posting here on my blog.

YES the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog is now LIVE, as well as Sale-a-bration! yay!

Here's a little peek at one of the sets I've been playing with from the Spring Mini, Painted Poppies! This set is part of a the Peaceful Poppies Suite found on pages 24-27 of the Spring Mini Catalog. I used Poppy Parade, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock, along with both the Painted Labels Dies, Peaceful Moments stamps, and Poppy Moments dies!

I added a folded piece of Basic Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon and a few Peaceful Poppies Sequins for some sparkle.

Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack Refresh!

Hey there! I can't believe Christmas Eve is just one week from today! I still have so much wrapping (a little shopping) to do! eek!

With all I have to do, I just wanted to pop on here and let you know about the Clearance Rack Refresh Stampin' Up! just announced this morning! One great item on the rack today is the Large Letters Dies! I used them for this project and several more! I will always keep my Large Letters! I'm actually contemplating ordering a second set just so I can cut more letters at the same time and faster! lol!

I've pretty well wrapped up my Christmas crafting for this year, unless I decide I need to make some more gift tags, but I still have a few things to share with you that are Christmas related, so stay tuned. Wrapping presents is on the agenda for today!

Today's card I created for Logan's birthday with Nine Lives and the cat punch:

Logan and his wife, Faith, have three cats, so I tried to re-create each one.

First, meet "Holland". I stamped the cat image on Basic Gray with Basic Gray ink, punched with the Cat Punch, then added his coat markings with a White Stampin' Chalk Marker.

To create "Eileen", I stamped the same basic cat image on white, then added the coat markings with Basic Gray. I filled in with a Basic Black Stampin' Blend and added a Balmy Blue bow.

"Leo" is a traditional tabby, so I stamped the basic cat outline with Smokey Slate on Smokey Slate card stock, then stamped the tabby markings with Basic Gray ink.
