Stampin’ Up! Pattern Play Shaker Cards!

Hey there! I decided to make a couple of birthday cards with the red/pink Sequins for Everything:

The first one is the basic clear-envelope shaker:

I white heat-embossed the greeting and some sparkles directly on a piece of Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper. Placement is important with this step so your sentiment doesn't get lost in the print of the paper.

For the second card I decided to add a frame by cutting a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Magenta Madness with the second-largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I adhered to the clear envelope with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals:

As you can see, my placement of the sentiment on this card "pops" much more than the first!

Inside I used the other Pattern Play sentiment and added sparkles and bubbles with Magenta Madness and So Saffron ink.

Hey there! It's time again for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!

Our November theme is "Thankful, Grateful, and Truly Blessed", so I created a set of Thanksgiving table favors that are so easy I will have to make a "few" more for our Thanksgiving!

I used the Little Treats Bundle to create this easy favor that requires no adhesive to assemble!

So easy to put together! Simply fold on the scored lines created when you cut out the box, then insert the tabs in the slits!

Now my question. Which one do I make 25 more of?

Dimensions to cut out treat box: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Everything else is cut from scraps.

Stampin’ Up! Gathered Leaves Shaker!

Hey there! Last weekend Stampin' Up! provided an online event to introduce the spring catalog to demonstrators. One great project shown was a shaker card that's soooooo easy to make!

The first card I created was with the Gather Together stamp set and the "orange" collection of sequins from the Sequins For Everything pack.

What makes this shaker card so easy is the Clear Envelope used to create the shaker! I simply stamped a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla with Gather Together images, sponged the edges, slipped it into the clear envelope, added a couple of pinches of sequins, and sealed up the back! Voila!

I then adhered to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card front with Stampin' Seal. It will fit snugly into a Medium Very Vanilla envelope!

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Peaceful Nativity!

Hey there! Today I have a card created with the Curvy Christmas stamp set and Peaceful Nativity Bundle. The "streaky stars" from Curvy Christmas made me think of the night sky the night my Savior was born and this is the result of that inspiration:

This look was achieved by stamping the "streaky stars" three times with Versamark on the Night of Navy layer, then heat embossing with silver powder. I cut a star from Silver Foil with a Nativity Die.

I cut the stable from Basic Black card stock with a Nativity Die, as well as the Holy Family that I heat-embossed with silver on Night of Navy.

A simple greeting straight from Peaceful Nativity.

Stampin’ Up! Curvy Snow Wonder!

Hey there! Today I have another card that features Curvy Christmas stamps, Curvy Dies and Classic Christmas 6" x6" Designer Paper from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle. I paired it with Snow Wonder stamps and white heat embossing:

The Snow Wonder snowman looks perfect heat embossed with white on this Classic Christmas Designer Paper layer!

I laid the stamp on my chosen area, then used washi tape to hold the die in place while cutting.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day on Monday!

Hey there! I took a bit of a blogging break the past few days while it was crunch time for getting the room ready for my son to move back in. He has several Associates Degrees and has worked for several years but recently decided to go back to school full-time to get his degree in High School English teaching. He's avoiding draining his savings by living with us. It's only 3 years!

As a messy creative I had way too much stuff in his old room, and although I'm NOT a hoarder, as I sorted, trashed, gifted, and stored the contents of the room I started to feel a little bit like one. I was able to part with a lot of stuff, and even had a bonfire or two (three!), and now have several totes in storage at my daughter's spare garage, so I'm finally back to blogging!

Pricing: 6 cards/envelopes, $36 OR Free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order placed online or sent to me via phone, text, or private Facebook messenger. You can pay with a credit or debit card for the Stampin’ Up! order or with Paypal (Carol Payne/carol@carolpaynestamps.com) if you are paying for the cards outright.

No matter which option you choose, shipping the cards to you is FREE!

Paying for your cards with a Stampin' Up! order includes the monthly card and embellishment gift.

Purchase multiples of the same card or more than one of different sets, but you cannot split up a set (6 cards all the same in each purchase) You can purchase 6 of one and 6 of another, just simply multiply the sets by the way you choose to pay ($72 for 12 completed cards or a $100 Stampin' Up! order for 12 completed cards)

Pay or place your order by November 15th and I guarantee shipment of your cards on the Monday after Thanksgiving. However, this offer is good ALL MONTH. If you place your order from November 16-30th, I will ship your cards by December 5th.
