Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do and Make a Difference!

Hey there! The Make a Difference stamp set is pat of the "A Little More, Please" Bundle and the "Gotta Have It All" Bundle from the Share What You Love Suite promotion this month. Make a Difference is an alphabet set, but the thing that sets it apart from all other alphabet sets in the catalog is that you can stamp each letter so it looks like handwriting! This is SO COOL!

First, here's the card front. I used Tranquil Tide, Basic Black, Whisper White, and Share What You Love Specialty, that beautiful pearlized designer paper!

The white circle is punched with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch, then layered on a scalloped circle cut with a Layering Circle Framelit. Leaves are stamped with Mint Macaron, and Basic Black Baker's Twine and a rhinestone colored with a black Sharpie finish it off.

I stamped "Happy Birthday" with the Make a Difference stamp set! Love What You Do doesn't have a "happy birthday", so I made my own with Make a Difference. This set contains upper and lower case letters, script and type, and even includes the exclamation point!

Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love Make n’ Take!

Hey there! The card I have for you today was one of our Make & Takes at the Stampin' Up! Atlanta OnStage Local last month! It is also another one of the cards we will be making at my Share What You Love Stamp-a-Stack on May 19th!

The card base is Mint Macaron, stamped with Mint Macaron and images from the Love What You Do set. A layer of vellum was added behind the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Paper layer. A snippet of Share What You Love Specialty was layered next with a piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon. After stamping the greeting on a Whisper White layer, the corners were punched with a 1/2" Circle Punch and a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls were added for more color.

Purchase the "A Little More, Please" Bundle, on special this month and you will have everything you need to make this card. The only things you'll need to add is Whisper White card stock, a circle punch, vellum, and your adhesive of choice! You can stamp the Mint Macaron card base with Versamark until Mint Macaron becomes available to order on June 1st.

Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love, Another Card!

Hey there! The Share What You Love Bundles on special this month are filled with awesomeness! I'm serious! I've made a bunch of cards already and can't wait to make more!

Today's card was created with a Whisper White Thick card base, a Basic Black layer, and then a piece of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper:

EVERY SINGLE SHEET IN THIS PACK IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Mint Macaron, Tranquil Tide, Basic Black, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White are the colors used in this print. The rest of the colors in the pack are Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Grapefruit Grove, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, and So Saffron.

I hand-cut a couple of blooms from this design to accent the greeting banner. I added a couple of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the centers. The Artisan Pearls are 100 adhesive-backed pearls, 20 each of 5 colors: Grapefruit Grove, Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, and Tranquil Tide.

I added a strip of Tranquil Tide punched with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch to the bottom edge of the greeting banner.

For the first time, this hand-watercolored paper is accented with a pearlized effect! That's just ONE reason this Specialty Paper is so special!

Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love Class Announcement!

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day May 6th!

Hey there! It's time again for Sunday Swap Day! yay!

Today I have an eclectic group of cards to share, but they all have one thing in common: happiness!

First, Kathy Morgan used the Amazing Congratulations set, which is carrying over to the new catalog, with Marina Mist and Night of Navy to create a card that could be used for a birthday, graduation, retirement, or any happy occasion! She used her Stamparatus, available to order when the new catalog goes live on June 1st!

Next, Karen Kurze used Beautiful Day for her bright and happy card:

Carol Slack combined the soon retiring Blooms & Wishes with the Celebrate You Thinlets. She used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and a color palette of Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, and Whisper White. She also added Clear Wink of Stella to the "celebrate" greeting.

Ruth Bingle created a fun shaker card with the Picture Perfect Birthday set, Berry Burst, and the soon retiring Sweet Sugarplum! I will be CASEing this one with current colors soon!

Finally, Cathy Miller used the carrying over Southern Serenade for her soothing swap.

In case you are wondering what I mean by "retiring" and "carrying over":

Retiring means it is leaving the Stampin' Up! product line and will no longer be available to order after May 31st.

Stampin’ Up! Sailin’ Away with Lilypad Lake!

Hey there! Today I have another Lilypad Lake card to share today, this time with the sailboats!

I used a nautical color combo of Pool Party, Night of Navy, Whisper White, and Real Red, embossing the Pool Party background with the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder:

I stamped directly on the wavy-lined stamp with the sailboats image to stamp upside down on the Pool Party-stamped wavy lines to look line reflection, then mounted the sailboats cut with the Lakeside framelit directly above with dimensionals.

The Lakeside Framelits contain TWO dies that are perfect for cutting out so many different greetings! Short, narrow greetings will fit in the Classic Label Punch, but these two framelits will fit longer and taller sentiments; a wonderful addition to your stamping arsenal!

I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to ink up only the "thinking of you" from the longer Lilypad Lake sentiment: "Thinking of you with loving thoughts and prayers".

This set is perfect for masculine or sympathy cards, but paired with phrases from other sets could be used for just about anyone! I'm really glad I've added the Lilypad Lake Bundle to my stampin' stash!
