Stampin’ Up! Apron of Love for Mom!

Hey there! Sometimes I think I'm going to make a card a certain way, but then during the process the card becomes something else entirely! Such was the case with this Apron of Love card today. I intended to make a masculine card for a "best Dad ever", but it ended up being for Mom!

I used Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, Apron of Love Bundle, and Perennial Birthday stamps to create this:

I heat-embossed the apron and flowers with white powder, cut with an Apron Builder Framlit die, then layered on ovals cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Oval Framelits. Rhinestone Basic Jewels provide touches of bling.

The embossed Petal Palette flowers on the apron match the stamped flowers inside, which frame a Perennial Birthday sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Faux Diamonds!

Hey there! I used Springtime Foils Specialty Paper, (gone on March 31st when Sale-a-bration ends) with the Petal Point Fun Fold!

I used Petal Palette, Lots of Labels Framelits, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, Springtime Foils Specialty, and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

After stamping with black ink added Powder Pink and then Flirty Flamingo with a sponge dauber. I adhered a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet over it all before cutting with a Lots of Labels Framelit.

I removed the cover to expose the adhesive.

Sprinklewith Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to create Faux Diamonds!

The 3" x 4" pieces of Springtime Foils are scored & folded into the points.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Faux Diamonds!

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Final Two Cards!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing two more cards we're making at the Petal Palette Stamp Class tomorrow. These cards are from the monthly swap with the theme of Occasions Catalog and fun folds. I fell in love with both of these cards!

This card by Karen Kurz is a z-fold turned portrait instead of the usual landscape:

The blooms are colored with Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie and Light & Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends. The bird is colored with Light & Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. All, including the Old Olive "trellis", are cut with Petals & More Thinlets.

The center panel is actually Petal Passion DSP colored with Stampin' Blends.

Stampin’ Up! Sunday Swap Day Petal Palette February 11!

Hey there! It's time to share some swaps! Yay!

My friend Mary Ellen Stites added a Pool Party watercolor wash to the Petal Passion Designer Series paper background to complement the little bluebird from Petal Palette:

Angela Waters used classic black-and-white for her clean-and-simple card.

I stamped this card at the OnStage make-n-takes in Salt Lake City last November; coloring select flowers with a Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker.

BJ Peters, colored pearls with her Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Marker to accent her card.

Jessica Brigden sponged Pear Pizzazz ink on the Petal Passion Designer paper, as well as on the rose leaves. She sponged Sweet Sugarplum on the roses, then added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella for some shine!

Finally, Georgia Giguere used classic Basic Black, Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight for her cheery card:

Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Flap Fold Wedding!

Hey there! While I was creating my projects for the Petal Palette Stamp Class I made a few extras. The Flap Fold wedding card I'm sharing today is one of them!

After embossing with one of the Petal Pair Textured Impressions folders I sponged a bit of Sweet Sugarplum ink to make the design stand out.

Silver heat-embossing makes the greeting and the inside sentiment pop!
