Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin Peaceful Christmas Coordination with Peaceful Place Suite!

Hey there! Today my cards were created with the October Paper Pumpkin kit, "Peaceful Christmas". The fall and Christmas kits are my favorites of the year!

Peaceful Christmas contained everything needed: pre-printed card bases, lovely silver-embossed Shaded Spruce envelopes, stamps, ink, twine, and embellishments to make 10 cards, 5 each of two different designs! These cards came together in a snap!

The silver-embossed (foiled) envelopes are pretty enough to cut up and turn into card elements too!

I loved the font of this "Merry Christmas", and the glittery, snowy-looking gems are perfect with the snowy background!

Each card making stamp set includes sentiments for the outside and the inside!

The second design in the kit included this lovely Shaded Spruce Buffalo Check designer paper layer, as well as pre-cut vellum trees and silver "Noel". Everything was assembled with the included adhesives: mini glue dots and stampin' dimensionals.

Inside I used another sentiment from the kit, then stamped the tiny evergreens with the included Shaded Spruce ink.

This kit is no longer available to order, but it coordinated with the existing "Peaceful Place" Suite from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Whimsy Card Kit!

Hey there! Today's cards are ones I made in a snap with the Christmas Whimsy card kit! Although you can see pictures of this kit in the Holiday Mini Catalog, (page 6 to be exact!), the information to order is not included in the catalog. This kit along with the tag kit shown on the facing page are part of the new Kit Collection that Stampin' Up! is offering. Each kit includes EVERYTHING you need to make the projects in the kit you choose, whether it is a card kit, tags, treat boxes, etc.! These kits have the ink, adhesives, embellishments, stamping block, etc. You can never have stamped before and still be happy with the way these projects turn out!

The Christmas Whimsy card kit is currently sold out but there are plans for it to be back in stock before it's too late to order for Christmas card making. I want to show you these cards in a little bit of detail and then tell you about a kit that IS available to order right now!

I made the 8 cards in the kit (all inclusive for $19!) in less than a hour!

The adorable elves are easy to remove from the page they are printed on, and the gold stars are included in the kit! I stamped the background of this card with the stars stamp also included in the kit with the Night of Navy ink spot that comes with the kit too!

I loved this sentiment from the set of stamps that come with the kit, as well as the gold cording that I looped behind the pre-printed tag from the kit! In addition to the gold stars there are also iridescent blue stars to embellish the cards!

I love the inside sentiment from the kit stamps!

The other card in the kit whipped up pretty fast too! It has snowflakes stamped on the background and matching iridescent blue snowflakes to embellish!

I decided to add this single elf to the inside of the card. You Can deviate from the directions if you want to! lol!

I'm not exactly sure when this kit will be available again, but I will be sure to let you know!

Stampin’ Up! January Paper Pumpkin Sending Hearts!

Hey there! Stampin' Up!'s monthly crafting subscription box, Paper Pumpkin, arrived in my mailbox this week. The Sending Hearts January kit is absolutely adorable! I immediately made two of the eight cards included in the kit, as well as another with a few additional supplies!

The two kit cards:

I did add one of the tiny Petal Pink epoxy hearts included in the kit. They come in several sizes including a few star-shaped flowers!

I stamped the second card according to the kit directions.

Here's a tip for stamping with photopolymer stamps that have smooth-surfaces, like the solid hearts in this image. Tap the stamp on your ink pad a few times, then stamp on scrap paper. Re-ink without cleaning the stamp to stamp on your card. I didn't do that when I stamped the heart on the left. The heart on the right is much better after re-inking after the first stamping.

I used one of the Petal Pink epoxy hearts here too!

After I made the kit cards I used the little snail stamp to make my own with a few additional supplies:

This sweet little guy coordinates with the Snailed It Bundle in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog! I heat-embossed him with white powder on Poppy Parade, then cut him out with one of the Heart Punch Pack punches. There were plenty of epoxy hearts to sprinkle around!

You can't order this kit. It's only available by subscription, which closes on the 10th of each month. However, you can subscribe now to the February Kit. I'm sure it will not disappoint. Give Paper Pumpkin a try!

Stampin’ Up! April Paper Pumpkin Sentimental Rose!

Hey there! Today I want to share with you the April Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin is a monthly papercrafting subscription box you can receive for only $19.95 per month when you pay monthly. You can save when you purchase a prepaid subscription too!

I used the April kit, Sentimental Rose, to complete the nine note cards included in the kit. The kit included 9 pre-printed card bases, 3 each of 3 diffrent designs, 9 pre-printed card fronts, tags to stamp the greetings, a 10-piece photopolymer stamp set, a Gray Granite Stampin' Spot, a spool of white baker's twine, stampin' dimensionals, glue dots, white corrugated banners and pieces, Calypso Coral & Mint Macaron Enamel dots, a ready-t0-assemble acetate card box, a white corrugated belly band, and a pre-printed rose and leaves. After I finished the cards I still have a few pieces, as well as twine and glue dots, the stamp set and the stampin' spot, to use on future projects.

The stamps in the Sentimental Rose kit are from Stampin' Up!'s Distinktive line of stamps, beautifully etched for exquisite detail!

All nine notecards fit easily into the box, and the belly band is the perfect finishing touch!

All nine notecards fit easily into the box, and the belly band is the perfect finishing touch!

Each set of three cards has its' own distinctive look:

I have to admit that while I'm not often fond of pre-printed kits, this one has won me over!

The only things I added to my crafting time with this kit were Calypso Coral and Mint Macaron ink pads.

Stampin’ Up! February 2019 Paper Pumpkin Grown With Kindness!

Hey there! The February Paper Pumpkin box arrived today and I pounced on it for a session of quick and easy stamping! February's kit, called "Grown With Kindness", is a set of 9 photo-realistic cards featuring succulents!

I whipped these 9 cards together in about 30 minutes!

The stamp set included in the box has 14 different images, so there are many combinations to try!

The kit included everything I needed to make the cards: adhesive, black and white twine, banners to stamp, pieces to layer, and a Fresh Fig one-inch square Stampin' Spot!

My only addition to my stamping session was a Lemon Lime Twist inkpad to coordinate with some of the succulents!

This is my favorite phrase from this box!

This one is pretty good too:

Here's a tip for tying a bow with twine: put a glue dot where you want the bow to be on your card. After you tie the first step of the bow, press the twine into the glue dot. Finish tying the bow and press the rest of the knot into the glue dot too! The glue dot is like having and extra hand while you tie!

Stampin’ Up! November Paper Pumpkin!

Hey there! Saturday I Christmas Shopped ALL DAY with my girls and got lots of names checked off my list. We walked and walked and walked all over the mall and made multiple trips out to the van to store our packages. My feet were cramping just a bit before we headed home, and buddy, I was tired yesterday! I have lots of things on the plate for today, but I just want to jump on here this morning and share a quick post with you about Paper Pumpkin!

As you may be aware, Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up!'s monthly crafting subscription box, and membership has EXPLODED in the past few years, so much that the December box was SOLD OUT before the November box shipped! Today would normally be the last day to subscribe to the December box, but no new subscriptions are being taken this month. I'm sure Stampin' Up! will increase their kit count for January, so you will be able to subscribe to the January box (each box contents is a surprise!) so for today I want to share with you the gorgeousness of the November Kit!

Instead of the normal red monthly box, Stampin' Up! dressed up the November box for Christmas!

This was my first glimpse of the November box!

The kit contained all of the supplies to make 10 absolutely beautiful Christmas cards!
