Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Maddness!!

Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Maddness!!

Good morning! Trying to get my post up earlier today so the email you get (although it will probably be either the second one or two posts combined in one email, I'm not sure how this will go!) will be on time today!

I'm in the middle of super-organizing my stamping stuff after the big BOGO sale last Saturday. My two new catalog orders I placed over the weekend haven't even shipped yet, (due to the huge backlog of orders placed over the the weekend, I'm sure) but I'm determined to have all of my current stuff organized before these orders arrive!

I have done a teeny-little bit of stamping, but the project is not yet finished. I promise I will share with you as soon as I get it done, it's going to be pretty cute!

So today I'm relying on my monthly swaps again, this time with a few samples from Mosaic Madness!

Modern mosaic ruth bingle
Ruth Bingle went out-of-the-box by turning the Mosaic-punched pieces into a flower! (think this might make a great poinsettia for Christmas!) There's one of those Very Vintage Buttons again! The "feel better soon" is from the new set, Express Yourself, and she also used the Modern Mosaic Textured Impresssions Folder for the background (brayered with Strawberry Slush ink on the "positive side" (the side with the impressions raised up!) of the folder before placing the Whisper White paper inside!

Mosaic madness susy miller
Susy Miller went with a color pallette of Early Espresso, Naturals Ivory, Soft Suede, and Coastal Cabana for her card using both Mosaic Maddness and Label Love stamp sets! She also used a Neutrals Button and Natural 7/16" Ribbon Trim for the finishing touches! This could easily be a masculine card!

Well, it's back to the organizing grindstone for me today! (I actually enjoy cleaning out and organizing when I have enough time to do it properly!) My cough continues to improve a little each day, very little wheezing now, but the steroids are keeping me awake at night! When I get through all the meds I'll probably want to sleep for about 24 hours straight!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Countdown to the NEW Catalog Day #2!

Stampin’Up! Countdown to the NEW Catalog Day #2!

Good Morning! Now that I think about it a "countdown" starts at a higher number and counts DOWN to zero, and I'm counting up! Oh well, we all know that when we get to Friday, May 31st, we can order from the new catalog, and that's all that really matters, doesn't it?

Today's sample is a perfect blend of current and new! Lookie:

Dress up soho

The dress is cut from NEW Soho Subway Designer Paper, and the Blushing Bride (a returning In-Color that is now a CORE Subtles color!) strip behind the dress has been embossed with NEW Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder.

I LOVE how the creator (wish it was me but, alas, is not!) used the Designer Frames Folder and the Extra Large Oval punch with Silver Glimmer Paper to create the "mirror"!

Beautiful finishing touches: the "Pearl" necklace and the Blushing Bride flower punched with one of the Itty Bitty Shapes Punches!

That's all for today! I've a LOOOOONG list of "to do's" to get done today before my stamp camp in West Frankfort at the GrandOArt Studio!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Label Love Baby Cards!

Stampin’ Up! Label Love Baby Cards!

Good morning! Yesterday was jam-packed from beginning to end! My morning started off by creating these baby cards for a baby shower I was unable to attend but sent my gift anyway:

Label love baby 1

I used some of my pre-order items: Label Love stamp set, Artisan Label punch, Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder, and new In-Color Strawberry Slush for the card on the right and Marina Mist on the left.
Label love baby 2
All products used ©Stampin'Up!™1990-2013

I used a phrase from Cuddles & Kisses and tiny hearts from the soon-to-be-retired Rain or Shine.

After I safely delivered the gift to my SIL Lori to take to the shower for me, I finished the prep for my "Yes, Mam!" Downline meeting, which was from 7-9 p.m. last night.

There have been several new additions to my downline in all levels lately, mostly due to the great recuiting specials Stampin' Up! has been offering. (psst, there's one going on right now . . . Give me a shout out if you want to know more about how you can join my group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators, the "Yes, Mam! Stampers") Here's my recruit, Sherry Peyton, working on her M&T with two of her downline girls, also named Sherry!

The 3 sherrys
l to r: Shary Logan, Sherry Peyton, Sherry Chrisman!

That's all for now! Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
