Stampin’ Up! Special Magical Season!

Stampin’ Up! Special Magical Season!

Hey there! I'm working on my Christmas Card Class and SWOW Class scheduled for this Friday, so I've some new things to show you the next few days. Today's card features the Holiday Catalog set, Special Season, along with the Magical Season single stamp:

Magical season 1
I stamped the tree from Special Season with Whisper White Craft ink on the Crumb Cake layer. I then squirted out a pile of Clear Dazzling Details on a scrap of cardstock and then applied a thin layer over the stamped tree. The thinner you spread it the quicker it dries! I adhered a piece of Season of Style Designer Paper to the bottom of the layer, then attached two pieces of Cherry Cobbler 1" Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon to the back of the layer and tied in an pretty knot. I stamped the Magical Season stamp with Jet Black StazOn.

Here's a close up of the pretty glimmer of the Dazzling Details:

Magical season 2

Inside I stamped the "Christmas Greetings" from Special Season with Jet Black StazOn, then repeated the tree stamping with the White Craft ink. I also repeated a little strip of the Season of Style paper at the bottom.

Magical season 3

That's all for now! Thanks so much for coming by to see me today! Come back tomorrow to see what else I've been up to!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Magical Season!

Stampin’ Up! Magical Season!

Hey there! I'm getting ready to go to a wedding today, so I just have a few minutes to post this gorgeous card that was shared on a facebook group I am a member of for Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

With Robin Merriman's permission:

I LOVE this card!

She used the Magical Season #134777 Single Stamp cut out with a Chalk Talk Framelit, Smoky Slate, Pool Party, and Winter Frost Designer Paper, Festive Flurry Framelits with Silver Glimmer Paper, and a Vintage Faceted Button with Island Indigo Baker's Twine.

The final touch I have done in the past but had forgotten about is the Crystal Effects/Dazzling Diamonds "icicles" she added below the greeting! LOVE!

That's all for now. Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! O Holy Night!

Stampin’Up! O Holy Night!

I did a bit of Pinterest searching today and found some Founder's Circle swaps posted. I was found this card swapped by Shelli Gardner, Co-Founder of Stampin' Up! and her daughter, Sara Douglas:

I was inspired to create this card for my Christmas Card Class this month:

Oh holy night

I used the O Holy Night stamp set, Gold Heat Embossing, Pretty Print Textured Impressions Folder, Gold Metallic Encore Pad,  and Apothecary Accents Framelits.

O holy night 2

Inside I used the new single stamp Magical Season and the star stamp from O Holy Night.

Oh holy night 3

Up close you can see I added an Antique Brad, accented by a bit of Victoria Crochet Trim and a bit of 1 1/4" Burlap Trim that I cut down and snipped into banner ends.

O holy night 4
We don't carry gold brads, but we do have silver, so I dipped my silver brad in the Gold Metallic Pad, then in the Gold Embossing Powder. I held the brad with tweezers while I heated with my Heat Tool. The bow is a single thread from the 1 1/4" Burlap Trim.

That's all for now! I will be busy all day tomorrow cutting paper and finalizing my projects for both my SWOW class and my Christmas Card Class. Let me know if you want to come stamp with me Friday from 1-9 or Saturday from 1-6!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!
