Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Tunnel Card!

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Tunnel Card!

Hey there! Today I have another new fold, at least it is to me, called the Tunnel Fold. I combined the Grassy Grove Bundle of stamps and dies with Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper and a few other fun things to create this sympathy/encouragement card.

Stampin_up_grassy_grove_tunnel_card_carolpaynestamps1

I love this Grassy Grove sentiment, stamped with Evening Evergreen ink and punched with the retiring Everyday Label. I accented the card with retiring Genial Gems too.

Here is an view of the card open and from the top.

Inside I cut the peep-hole into the tunnel with Hippo & Friends Dies.

Stampin_up_grassy_grove_tunnel_card_carolpaynestamps5

I stamped a Grassy Grove deer with Soft Suede ink, cut with a Grove die, then adhered to the New Horizons Designer Paper I used on the inside of the tunnel.

I put the signature layer on the back of the card, flanked by two 1/2" strips of New Horizon paper.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas In July Week!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas In July Week!

Hey there! I traditionally hold a Christmas in July class at my house, but this year circumstances are not letting it happen, so I decided to do the next best thing, hold a Christmas In July Week here on my blog!

Today's card is the first one I created with the Tidings and Trimmings bundle from the Annual Catalog!

Stampin_up_tidings_&_trimmings_carolpaynestamps1

I used Crumb Cake as my neutral instead of the usual Basic White or Very Vanilla, stamping directly on it with Evening Evergreen, then cutting with a Hippo & Friends die. I cut a larger mat layer from Cherry Cobbler with another Hippo & Friends die. The holly & star embellishments are cut with Christmas Trimmings dies.

Stampin_up_tidings_&_trimmings_carolpaynestamps3

I embossed the Soft Succulent layer with one of the Wintry 3D embossing folders that is sized to fit in the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I chose my card stock colors to coordinate with the colors in the Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Paper I used on the card front.

Stampin_up_tidings_&_trimmings_carolpaynestamps4

Inside I stamped again on Crumb Cake with a Tidings & Trimmings sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink.

Stampin_up_tidings_&_trimmings_carolpaynestamps5

I had fun creating my first Christmas card of 2021! I will be back tomorrow with another Tidings & Trimmings creation!

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Trio of Cards!

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Trio of Cards!

Hey there! We had a wonderful day with family yesterday! I love the Sundays when we have family dinners and then have the afternoon to hang out and visit!

Today I have a trio of simple but gorgeous cards I created with the new Expressions In Ink Suite found on pages 96 and 97 of the new Annual Catalog:

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps1

I used one half of one sheet of Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper to create all three cards with different card stock and inks that are in the designer paper itself: Polished Pink, Shaded Spruce, and Pale Papaya.

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps2 (2)

I embellished the cards with the Expressions In Ink Ephemera pack of gold foil leaves and self-adhesive sequins.

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps3

I used a sentiment from the Best Year stamp set inside.

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps6

The one with the Shaded Spruce card base:

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps12

I used a Hippo & Friends die to cut out the greetings and the mat behind each one.

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps13

I love the bold but simple "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" found in the Artistically Inked set.

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps14

The Pale Papaya card base version:

Stampin_up_artistically_inked_carolpaynestamps7

I used stamped-off Fresh Freesia ink around the greeting.

Stampin’ Up! Hippo Birthday 2 Ewe!

Stampin’ Up! Hippo Birthday 2 Ewe!

Hey there! We went to a family wedding yesterday; our nephew on myhusband's side of the family. A sweet wedding, lovely bride, proud groom, and the Lord was glorified and praised! My grandson, Oakley, was the ring bearer, and my granddaughter, Ivory, was the flower girl. Cyndal, who is almost 2, took her afternoon nap on my lap during the ceremony. Sweet times.

Today I have another Hippo Happiness birthday card to share. I'm loving how easy it is to stamp these little critters and cut them with the Hippo & Friends dies! I paired them with another print from the Artistry Blooms Designer paper pack in Gorgeous Grape and Magenta Madness.

Stampin_up_hippo_happiness_carolpaynestamps2

I used all four of the critters from the Hippo Happiness stamp set, each mounted on their own mat cut with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch:

Stampin_up_hippo_happiness_carolpaynestamps5

No fancy folds today, just good ol' fashioned stamping and die-cutting!
