Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour Pop & Twist for Ava!

Hey there! Last night we went to a surprise 16th birthday party for Ava, our second-oldest granddaughter. I had bought a pretty pair of bracelets for her, but needed a gift box for it, so I decided to make a matching card and box!

I used the Color & Contour stamps with Scalloped Contours Dies to create this pop & twist card. The colors are Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink, and Daffodil Delight.

I added a Loose Flower Flourish with a glue dot, and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel with a tiny dot of liquid glue.

The pop & twist fun-fold:

I used the same color combo to create the box for the bracelets.

I cut the tags with two of the Tailor Made Tags dies, then embellished with Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.

I used another Loose Flower Flourish and Rhinestone. The sentiment is from Best Year.

Stampin’ Up! Turtle Friends!

Hey there! I'm late posting this morning because my internet was down last night. I tried and tried to get it to come back up, but sometimes you just have to give it up, give it to God, and go to bed, so that's what I did.

I have internet this morning, so before it goes back down I wanted to get this Turtle Friends card posted for you:

As you probably already know, I try to make a special birthday card for each of my grandchildren. I used the Give It A Whirl Dies to create this card for Oakley's 8th birthday.

I adhered a print from the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper to a layer of Basic White before cutting with the front layer Give It A Whirl Die.

I held it all together with a black square brad from the Round & Square Brads pack. The Give It a Whirl Dies even cut the holes to attach the pieces together so everything lines up perfect!

Such a cute punny sentiment from Turtle Friends!

It's time to shell-ebrate!

Stampin’ Up! Turtle Friends!

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air!

Hey there! Today I have a birthday card to share with you that I created with the Mountain Air stamp set, Majestic Mountain dies, and the Evergreen Border Punch!

I used the Double Z-fold for this masculine card.

I used sentiments from the Best Year stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink.

I stamped the mountains with both Smoky Slate and Night of Navy ink, and the treeline with Evening Evergreen. I stamped the clouds with stamped-off Smoky Slate, and colored the sky with a Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend. I cut out a tree from Evening Evergreen card stock with a Majestic Mountain die.

Not much room to sign this one, so I will put a Basic White layer on the back.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas In July Triangle Layers with Tidings & Trimmings!

Hey there! Today I have my final card created for Christmas in July Week! I was flipping through some past creations and ran across a couple of cards I had created with this technique. I'm still not sure what it is called, but you can find my previous creations, with dimensions and tips, HERE and HERE.

The Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper is so pretty, and on sale 15% off right now, so I wanted to create one of my Christmas In July Week cards with one of the pieces. The designer paper is one piece of double-sided Tidings of Christmas, cut on the diagonal in an "X", then two opposite pieces are flipped over before adhering to the card front.

I used this sentiment from Tidings & Trimmings again, and then added open stars, which are also from the same set. I cut it and the Evening Evergreen mat layer with Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I finished it all with a few Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones and a bow tied from Evening Evergreen 3/8" Chevron Weave Ribbon.

Inside I stamped the same stars with Evening Evergreen ink, and the Tidings & Trimmings sentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas In July Evergreen Elegance Z-fold!

Hey there! It's Thursday, and today I have the 4th card for Christmas In July Week! Today I'm using Evergreen Elegance again with a z-fold and the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder!

The guide on each end of the Evergreen Border Punch made it easy to punch this almost 11" long strip of trees to add to the z-fold arm!

All of the sentiments and images used on this card are from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set, with the exception of the redbirds, which are from the Garden Birdhouses set.

I made sure I stamped all of the sentiments and trees first before embossing with the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder.

I decided to forgo any other embellishments besides the two redbirds, which I hand-cut with my Paper Snips.

This was a simple card to make. You can find the measurements to make this card HERE when I made a Ride The Range z-fold.
