Stampin’ Up! Masculine Mountain Air!

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the card I created for my monthly mail-in swap. One of our choices for this month was to make a masculine birthday card, so I used the Mountain Air and Stacked Stone stamp sets with sentiments from Sweet Strawberry to create this:

After I decided the stamp set I wanted to use, then I looked through the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack and chose this textile design that is sort of Night of Navy but almost Basic Black or Basic Gray. I decided to use Basic Gray card stock and ink and Smoky Slate card stock for the Neutral to stamp the focal image and inside layer.

I cut the focal image layer with a Seasonal Labels die, as well as the Stacked Stone-stamped layer underneath it. I stamped the mountains first with Basic Gray, cleaned the stamp, then stamped just the tops of the mountains with White Craft Ink. I stamped the moon with White Craft as well, then added sparkle with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. The greeting is from Sweet Strawberry.

Inside I repeated the same stamping process for the mountains and moon, then stamped the sentiment from Sweet Strawberry, omitting the rest of the words, "you sweet thing" by cleaning off the ink with a baby wipe before stamping.

Hey there! Today I'm sharing the card I made for Ivory's 5th birthday party with the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper:

I used a greeting from Best Year for the front, accented with a strip of Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum from the In Color Shimmer Vellum pack and a Polished Pink In Color Jewel.

I used Layering Circles dies to cut the opening on the card front and the layers behind and around the intricately die-cut butterfly. I cut the pink layer from Polished Pink In Color Shimmer Vellum and added Polished Pink In Color Jewels for some bling.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Best Year. The Blushing Bride animal print from the Pattern Party Host Designer pack compliments well with the Polished Pink!

Hey there! I'm back again with a Sunday Swap Day that is actually ON Sunday! My life has been so incredibly hectic lately, I feel like I'm not getting anything done and things are piling up on me. I am going to have this coming week off from babysitting Fiona due to her family is now in quarantine. No one is terribly sick, for which I am thankful, but I am accumulating a long list of things that I hope to accomplish this week! If I can get half of it done I will be happy!

To start of my share today I have this gorgeous Bright Baubles creation by Meg Holland:

Hey there! One of the reasons I blogged so little last week was because I was working on projects for the baby shower for my soon-to-come baby granddaughter, Scarlett!

Today I am sharing the Thank You Cards I created for her mama, Grace, to write her thank-you's after the shower. The shower theme was "A Little Pumpkin Is On The Way", so I used the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set to create this with Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes:

I stamped everything on the Basic White front layer with Flirty Flamingo ink first before die-cutting with the Stitched Greenery Die.

This sentiment from Pretty Pumpkins is perfect for this baby shower thank-you! I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some sparkle.

Inside I stamped the same group of pumpkins again, but added the smiling faces with one image from the Sharing Sunshine stamp set. It's amazing how the same image looks different on each pumpkin because of the difference in the pumpkin size and shape! The inside sentiment is one of several included in the Ornate Thanks stamp set.

Hey there! Super-busy weekend again! We had our 93rd Annual Homecoming at our church Sunday morning, a potluck dinner at church after, and then we went to Grace & Troy's baby shower for their soon-to-arrive baby girl, Scarlett! I spent all day Saturday preparing for the events!

So once again I am sharing my Sunday Swap Day cards with you on Monday!

First a cute fun-fold card by Kathy Morgan with the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series paper! This two-step stamp set creates such a sharp image!

Next, Gorgeous Leaves by Laura Milligan. So much texture in this simple card with the embossed Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder used on the background layer, die-cut leaf, and embellishments!
