Stampin’ Up! Detailed Floral from Jan!

Stampin’ Up! Detailed Floral from Jan!

Hey there! I had the chance to have lunch with a dear friend from my high school days a couple of weeks ago. Jan and I met in freshman P.E. class. It was still all girls back then, and she scooted up beside me to make friends while the coach was explaining something, I can't remember what about now, but we've been friends for over 40 years since then!

Jan gave me this lovely card she made with the detailed Floral Thinlets. Jan is also on my team of Yes Mam! Stampers!

Stampinupdetailedfloralcarolpaynestamps1

She cut Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, and Peekaboo Peach with the same framelit, then added the colored pieces back in to create the colored design. It's a little bit fiddly, but oh, so worth it!

Stampinupdetailedfloralcarolpaynestamps2

I love the little extra flower touches she added!

Stampinupdetailedfloralcarolpaynestamps3

Whether past or present, Stampin' Up! always has the perfect sentiments. Jan's friendship has been such a blessing to me all of these years too!

Stampin’ Up! Window Shopping!

Stampin’ Up! Window Shopping!

Hey there! Today is the last day for my Chicks & Chocolate Open HouseThe  fourth project we are making today is with the Window Shopping Bundle:

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps1

The Window Box Thinlets consist of 9 dies, including the one I used to cut the intricate floral design in the Shimmery White card stock card front.

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps2

I cut a stencil in a scrap piece of card stock, then sponged Old Olive and Sweet Sugarplum ink through it on a scrap of Whisper White to adhere under the Shimmery White top layer.

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps5

I cut the ends of the Sweet Sugarplum 3/4" x 3 3/4" strip into banner points with my snips.

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps3

Almost as an afterthought I added a Sweet Sugarplum and Old Olive Enamel Shape.

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps8

The inside sentiment is from the Window Shopping stamp set that is bundled with the Window Box Thinlets. When you buy the bundle you save 10%!

Stampin’ Up! Peekaboo Hey Chick Again!

Stampin’ Up! Peekaboo Hey Chick Again!

Hey there! In addition to the card I shared with you yesterday swapped by Joanne, she also demonstrated how to make it and then we all got to make one!

Of course, we did a different color combo and used punches instead of framelits to create the "peekaboo" holes!

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps1

We stamped off the Smokey Slate ink on the "chicken wire" stamp from Butterfly Basics to go behind the Hey Chick images.

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps2

Just like the peekaboo card I shared with you yesterday, when you open it, the middle panel pulls back to reveal the  innermost images.

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps3

I love that little just-cracking egg!

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps4

A little Clear Wink of Stella lends the perfect egg-y shimmer!

Stampin_up_hey_chick_carolpaynestamps5

Hey Chick is now available to choose as a Sale-a-bration freebie for every $50 you order!

Remember while shopping:

All orders receive a Thank You card in the mail.

EDITED TO ADD: Joanne has posted a tutorial to create this card on her blog! Click this link to go there! https://keepitsimplestampers.com/2017/01/06/the-hen-house/https://keepitsimplestampers.com/2017/01/06/the-hen-house/

Hey Chick! is a choice to add for free to your $50 order right now!  Here's the link to my online store:  http://bit.ly/shopwithCarolPayneStamps
