Stampin’ Up! Sweet Summertime!

Hey there! It's time for the July Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! Our theme this month is "Sweet Summertime", and what could be sweeter than strawberries and peaches?

My first card features the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and the Give It A Whirl Dies!

The first sentiment I stamped in the window is from Sweet Strawberry!

Sentiment #2 is also from Sweet Strawberry!

#3 is from Celebrate Sunflowers!

I love that the Give It A Whirl dies include a little arrow to show how to turn the dial!

I added one of my favorite Bumblebee Trinkets to the Granny Apple Green layer I embellished with the Stitched Greenery die!

Inside I used a sentiment from Positive Thoughts!

The Give It A Whirl Dies have three different window dies to choose from.

I added a die-cut peach to the second sentiment.

All of the sentiments on this card are from Sweet As A Peach!

I love the tiny peaches peeking out on the inside!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers!

Hey there! Today I have a card created with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and the Stitched Greenery die that I'm crazy about! I needed another sympathy-type card, but I wanted it to be cheerful too, so I used Daffodil Delight card stock and In Good Taste Designer paper with the aforementioned Celebrate Sunflowers to create this:

I started by cutting the sunflower and butterfly from the Daffodil Delight card stock layer, then embossing the layer minus the sunflower and butterfly with the Stitched Greenery die. I then adhered the layer over a piece of In Good Taste Designer, then added the sunflower and butterfly back in their original spots with tiny dots of liquid glue.

I forgot to stamp the greeting before embossing with the Stitched Greenery die, but stamping on this layer worked out fine anyway!

I'm kind of obsessed with the Bumblebee Trinkets! They are the perfect finishing touch for this card!

I stamped the sunflower on the inside layer and on the envelope. I added the "Hugs Prayers Love" sentiment from Positive Thoughts with Early Espresso ink.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers!

I forgot to stamp the greeting before embossing with the Stitched Greenery die, but stamping on this layer worked out fine anyway!

I'm kind of obsessed with the Bumblebee Trinkets! They are the perfect finishing touch for this card!

I stamped the sunflower on the inside layer and on the envelope. I added the "Hugs Prayers Love" sentiment from Positive Thoughts with Early Espresso ink.

Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper Sale!

Hey there! I've been a little absent this week because I've been managing the "Grammie Resort" for two sets of grandchildren! Two of my daughters have anniversaries the last week of June, so naturally they each need a little overnight trip to celebrate! Sunday night we had Oakley, Lando, Ivory, and Cyndal while their parents went to Missouri for their 12th anniversary. They stayed until early Monday afternoon, and then Darcy and Fiona came to stay two nights while their parents went to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky for their 20th anniversary. The girls stayed until Wednesday evening. We also have been keeping Jessica's fur baby, Charlie, while they are Camp Hope counselors, so to say I've been a little distracted would be putting it mildly, but we've all had a lovely time!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Gatefold Easel Card!

Hey there! Today I have one of the cards we made last Friday night at Donna's house with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle! I recently learned how to make a Gatefold Easel fold from my friend Sharon Armstrong, so I was excited to share this new fold!

I used a circle image from Watercolor Shapes, stamped with Granny Apple Green, and "hello" from Biggest Wish on the belly band to hold the card together.k I added a Bumblebee Trinket as a final touch!

I don't have instructions written for this card yet, but I hope to make more of this fold. When I do, I will!

Inside I used a Sweet Strawberry sentiment, and used one of the strawberry blooms for my easel "stop".
