Stampin’ Up! Weekly Deals and Darcy Anne Has Arrived!

Hey there. Darcy Anne is here! I can't even begin to tell you how in love we are with this little gal:

10978699_10152532897946256_69064156350686230_n

My oldest photographer daughter, Jessica, did Darcy's first photo shoot in the hospital when Darcy was just 6 hours old!

Liam has met his baby sister and says she is "soooo cute"! I have him with me at my house while Kimberly is in the hospital recovering from her c-section. The little family will be reunited when Kimberly and Darcy are released tomorrow.

Since it's Tuesday, that means there are new Weekly Deals!

10955700_10205090527056957_495444461921323364_n

Great deals on ribbons, Big Shot Dies, a cool chalkboard banner kit, and even a bundle of stamps and framelits from the new Occasions Catalog! yay!

To place your order today, just shop my Online store: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/carolpayne/

When all the baby craziness calms down I will be sending out Thank-you packets for everyone who has placed an order with me in January and February. I just have not and will not be home enough until the end of the month to keep up with the Thank-you for all the orders that are coming in, but I will be catching up in March!

That's all for now! Have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Sunday Swap Day on Sunday Night!

Stampin’Up! Sunday Swap Day on Sunday Night!

Hey there! Things have been really busy around here for what seems like forever, but tomorrow it's going to get even busier because Miss Darcy is coming! yay!

Tomorrow morning at approximately 7:30 a.m, Miss Darcy Anne Jenkins is scheduled to make her debut! We are all excited, as well as a bit anxious. A c-section, while routine, is a serious surgery. We will all be breathing a prayer of thanks when mommy and  baby are safe and sound.

While we are waiting, and hoping to get a little bit of sleep before setting off for the hospital pre-6 a.m., how about a few swaps?

Ruth Bingle created her swap with the Big Day Sale-a-bration set using the Frosted Window technique:

Stampin_up_big_day_2

The "frosted window" is created with clear packing tape over the punched circle, then sprinkling the sticky side with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Stampin_up_big_day_4

Next, Cathy Stephenson used Butterfly Basics, punching the Bitty Butterfly from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, which is on sale through Monday, February 9!

Stampin_up_butterfly_basics

Raedean Shibata used Balloon Framelits with Celebrate Today to create a stunning anniversary card. She punched the edge with the Confetti Stars Border Punch, adding Silver Foil paper behind the stars for more shine.

Stampin_up_celebrate_today_1

Inside is finished with a banner from Celebrate Today and A Dozen Thoughts sentiment.

Stampin_up_celebrate_today_2

Finally, Jackie Ordway used Something Borrowed Designer Paper and a phrase from the For the New Two for her elegant wedding card. The Something Borrowed Embellishment is found on page 42 of the Occasions Catalog.

Stampin_up_for_the_new_two_1

That's all for now. The next time you visit I should have some Darcy pictures to share, as well as a few more swaps!

Here's a supply list of the main supplies used for todays' swaps you can order from my online store: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/carolpayne/

All orders of any amount will receive a Thank-you project packet from me. Since I will be staying with Miss Darcy for at least a couple of weeks I will be a bit slow in getting Thank-you packets in the mail this month (I still have some January ones to do too!) but please be patient, I WILL send them!

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals!

Hey there. We made it back last night from visiting my brother, who is doing much better, thank the Lord! I was able to also enjoy the nostalgia of my hometown in winter. Decatur, in Central Illinois, receives a lot more snow and is considerably colder than where I live in Southern Illinois. I had forgotten how much more the snow stays on the ground up there. It was wonderful to drive around the lake and the parks and just soak up the ambiance!

Today I have one of the cards we are making in my online class this month with the Painted Petals stamp set and Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Folder:

Stampin_up_painted_petals - Copy

I love this card with its' simple layout and construction. I just realized I didn't take a picture of the inside of the card, but trust me when I say it's as lovely as the outside.

I'm on a tight schedule today, so I'm just going to give you the supply list and the link to my online store and get busy!

http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/carolpayne/

Remember, any order of any amount will receive a Thank-you project packet in the mail from me. An order of at least $35 will receive the monthly class packet with 6 projects and instructions. AND right now every order of at least $50 (before tax & ship) can choose a free item from the Sale-a-bration brochure! yay!

Glue Dots

$4.95

Until tomorrow, have a Stampingrox! day!

Stampin’Up! Weekly Deals and I’m Home!

Stampin’Up! Weekly Deals and I’m Home!

Hey there! I've been home for a couple of days from Orlando but this is my first chance to blog. After I blogged the Weekly Deals last week, I finished my swaps, anticipating heading out to Orlando for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference on Wednesday, January 28. It was not to be. I came down with the a tummy bug during the night and ran a fever most of Wednesday, so we rescheduled our flight for Thursday morning. We made it just in time to eat the lunch Stampin' Up! provides, and I participated in an organized swaps before I even cleaned my plate. (It actually was several days before I had enough appetite to even think about eating most of a meal.)

I was exhausted pretty much the entire time we were there, but I'm still glad I went. I had a chance to see several of my friends from across the country and even got to chat a couple of times with my friend Constanze Wirtz from the Netherlands. We met on the Stampin' Up! cruise last year. That's just one of the things I love about Stampin' Up!; the chance to travel and make new friends from across the country and around the world!

The next day I swapped with these girls, my Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop sisters!

Stampin_up_blog_hop_swap

l to r: Judy Garza, Patty Chenail, me, Janet Wakeland, Laura Milligan, Lee Conrey, Jodi Reinert. Hamming it up in the front is BJ Peters!

Thursday night Stampin' Up! hosted the Manager's Reception at Disney's Fantasmic! It is a nighttime show with water and lights, so I really couldn't get a decent picture, but it was fun. Thank you, Stampin' Up!, for always making us feel appreciated!

No Stampin' Up! event is without yummy treats! My downline, Linda Reaney, and I hammed it up with some of the Mickey-themed desserts Stampin' Up! provided:

Lemon Mickey tarts-

Micky lemon tart

Chocolate brownie Mickey-head-on-a-stick-

Chocolate mickey

Truth: I actually only ate the two little push-up cheesecakes on my plate as they were the only gluten-free item offered, but they were just enough and delicious!

For my local stamping friends, YES, the Birthday Bash Stamp-a-Stack for this Saturday IS A GO. This will be my only in-home event this month as my newest grandbaby is scheduled to arrive by c-section this coming Monday, February 9th. I will be helping Kimberly with the new baby, as well as big brother Liam, most of the rest of the month, so my posts will continue to be sporadic until things calm down at the beginning of March.

Today I'm headed to my hometown of Decatur, IL, to check up on my "big brother", Don. Don has had some pretty major health bumps in the road the past couple of months, and so Mark and I are taking the day to drive up to see him for a bit. It's about a 3 hour drive, so I'm taking some paper to cut to keep preparing for my Saturday class. Fortunately. I like to cut paper! lol!

Here are the new Weekly Deals, a day late, but great nonetheless. Go to my online store to order: www.carolpayne.stampinup.net

Stampin’ Up! Orlando Leadership Bound!

Stampin’ Up! Orlando Leadership Bound!

Hey there! I know I've been quiet for a few days, because I've been preparing my swaps for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Orlando Florida. We were scheduled to fly down yesterday afternoon, but I cam down with a tummy bug yesterday and we had to reschedule our flight. We return on Sunday. I'm looking forward to spending a few days in a warmer climate. Tonight we get to go to Disney for a few hours for Manager's Reception! yay!

I hope to get to post some new ideas while I'm there, but if not, you can be sure I will have LOTS to share after I get home!

Until then, have a Stampingrox! day!
