Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Moments!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Moments!

Hey there! Last weekend I made this adorable little wedding shower card with the Wonderful Moments stamp set and a Balmy Blue Scalloped Note Card and Envelope. This card came together very quickly!

Stampin_up_wonderful_moments_carolpaynestamps1

These Note Cards, which come in a pack of 20 with 5 each of Balmy Blue, Old Olive, light pink, and Terracotta Tile, are already scalloped along the bottom front edge, which means they are very elegant even before adding anything else. I stamped the bride and the greeting with Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White square, then added a mat with Silver Foil. The note cards are 5" long by 3 1/2" wide, and can be mailed through the Post Office! The inside of the note card is Whisper White.

Stampin_up_wonderful_moments_carolpaynestamps2

A length of about 14 inches of  Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle adds a frilly look. I love this stuff!

Stampin_up_wonderful_moments_carolpaynestamps3

The envelope flap is already scalloped. No other stamping or embellishment needed!

Stampin_up_wonderful_moments_carolpaynestamps4

This card is simple but elegant. You NEED a pack of these note cards for your quick-to-make-stash! Put item # 149610 on your next order in my online store! You'll be glad you did!

Hey there! Our June theme is welcoming the New Stampin' Up! Catalog. You'll find lots of inspiration when you take our hop!

I combined the new Daisy Lane Bundle with the Stitched Lace Dies for my creation:

Stampin_up_daisy_lane_carolpaynestamps1-1

I love this new In Color Rococo Rose! Stampin' Up! has such a great coordination, I was able to use ink, card stock, and designer paper all on the same card. I used my  new Stitched Lace Dies to create the lacy background.

Stampin_up_daisy_lane_carolpaynestamps2-1

When searching for a gem to put in the center of the daisy, I found the Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems are a great match!

Stampin_up_daisy_lane_carolpaynestamps3-1

I embossed a 1/4" wide strip of Rococo Rose for my faux ribbon.

Stampin_up_daisy_lane_carolpaynestamps4-1

Heat embossed the greeting with white powder.

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Meets See A Silhouette!

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Meets See A Silhouette!

Hey there! Yesterday was a fun day of shopping with one of my daughters for the dress for Logan's wedding! Yes, I've found it; two dresses actually! Now I just have to make up my mind which one stays and which one goes back to the store! lol!

We went straight from shopping to church for VBS, so I finally sat down to create today's card at about 9 p.m. last night. I opened my new pack of See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper and was amazed at how much prettier it is in person than in the catalog!  I decided to pair it with the Daisy Lane Bundle with the new Medium Daisy Punch.

See A Silhouette DSP:

I stamped both daisies from the Daisy Lane set with black ink on Whisper White, punched with the coordinating punches, then layered with more daisies punched from Basic Black card stock. I finished the center with a Perennial Essence Floral Center. These centers are actually FUZZY like a pollen-filled flower!

I heat embossed "Smile" with white powder for a striking contrast.

Inside sentiment and daisies were stamped with black ink with Crushed Curry added with a Sponge Dauber.

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose!

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose!

Hey there! In between VBS craft evenings, I've been working on invitations for a shower for my second son, Logan, and his fiance', Faith. The wedding is less than two months away, and I'm going shopping for my dress today, so wish me luck!

Today I'm sharing the front of the invitation with the Wild Rose stamp set:

Stampin_up_to_a_wild_rose_carolpaynestamps1

The back side of the invite will be printed on the computer.

I used Seaside Spray, a 2019/2020 In Color, with Night of Navy and Mint Macaron for my color palette.

Stampin_up_to_a_wild_rose_carolpaynestamps2

To A Wild Rose was on my list of "must order firsts"! The flower is a 3-step stamping process, but I chose to only use the outline and the middle flower layer to create the roses. I added Mint Macaron leaves to fill in between the blooms.

Stampin_up_to_a_wild_rose_carolpaynestamps7

Stampin_up_to_a_wild_rose_carolpaynestamps3

There are coordinating dies to cut out the flowers and leaves, but I didn't use them on this project. Instead, I used a Stitched Labels Die to highlight the "bride & groom" from the Well Written Dies. I adhered the words with a thin layer of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and used the Take Your Pick tool to add the tiny dot for the "i" in  bride.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Matchbook Gift Card Holder Card!

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Matchbook Gift Card Holder Card!

Hey there! I've been MIA for a few days for two reasons: last week I ran the Grammie Hotel for several of my grand-kids on various days, as well as a boarding house for my Grand-dog!  I LOVE having them all here, but as you know, when you're lovin' on the grands everything else has to take the backseat! This week Vacation Bible School, (akaVBS), is in full swing at my church and I'm the Craft Director. We'll be over half done after tonight, so I'm finally able to share another creation with you!

I created this card as a graduation gift-card holder for my cousin's son, with the Come Sail Away Suite:

Stampin_up_sailing_home_carolpaynestamps1

This card is another "matchbook" style that I turned into a gift card holder.

I used a masking technique to achieve the look of a "moon" in the background.

Stampin_up_sailing_home_carolpaynestamps2

I cut out the "congrats" greeting with on of the Smooth Sailing Dies. The greeting banner also serves to hold the card shut. I colored Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon with my Night of Navy Light Stampin' Blend marker.

Stampin_up_sailing_home_carolpaynestamps3

Inside the card is attached to the upper layer so it "pulls-up" when the card is opened.

Stampin_up_sailing_home_carolpaynestamps4

I adhered a gift card inside with a couple of glue dots.

Stampin’ Up! Hold On To Hope for VBS!

Stampin’ Up! Hold On To Hope for VBS!

Hey there! I'm the director of VBS Crafts and I order most of my kits from Oriental Trading. When they arrived, one set of kits was on backorder and now are listed as "out of stock". I've hunted Pinterest and racked my brain, but was coming up with zilch. Then I pulled out Hold On To Hope and my Heat Tool and went to work!

I started by clear heat embossing two crosses on Pool Party cardstock, cutting with a Cross Hope die. I adhered back-to-back with Stampin' Dimensionals, then stamped the "God is Love" banner on Very Vanilla with Early Espresso. I pressed the Versamark pad directly on the image, then heat embossed with clear powder. I cut with another Cross of Hope die, then adhered with dimensionals.

Stampin_up_hold_on_to_hope_carolpaynestamps1

For the flip side, I stamped a bible verse, from the now retired His Grace, with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla. I pressed the Versamark pad on it, heat embossed with clear powder,  punched with the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle and adhering with stampin' dimensionals.

Stampin_up_hold_on_to_hope_carolpaynestamps2

I finished the cross by punching at the top with my long-retired Crop-a-dile, then used retired ribbon to create a necklace.

Stampin_up_hold_on_to_hope_carolpaynestamps3

This craft is a mix of old and new Stampin' Up! Sometimes I'm really glad I'm a packrat! lol!
