Hey there! This month our theme is the "Sale-a-Bration 2nd Release". Starting today, you can choose from three NEW Sale-a-bration items when you place your qualifying order! ($50 before shipping and tax in the U.S.)

You may just be starting the hop here at my blog – Carol Payne or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move from blog to blog so you see all the projects!
Because I focused on my Chicks & Chocolate Open House the past couple of weeks, I only received my pre-order of 2nd Release SAB products just before my event. Immediately after my event we had to go out-of-town for a couple of days, so I've had zero time to create with the new products.
I do, however, have this gorgeous card I plan to offer as part of my Online Rewards cards in March using the Avant Garden Sale-a-bration set:
Stampin_up_avant_garden_trio_carolpaynestamps2
I used the same color combo we used for the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop this month:
I stamped the Watermelon Wonder blooms twice without re-inking (called "generational stamping") on Serene Scenery Designer Paper. I used the Window Shopping stamp set for the greeting stamped with Night of Navy ink. I added a piece of an 2015-2017 In Color Doily in Mint Macaron.

Stampin’ Up! Window Shopping!

Hey there! Today is the last day for my Chicks & Chocolate Open HouseThe  fourth project we are making today is with the Window Shopping Bundle:

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps1

The Window Box Thinlets consist of 9 dies, including the one I used to cut the intricate floral design in the Shimmery White card stock card front.

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps2

I cut a stencil in a scrap piece of card stock, then sponged Old Olive and Sweet Sugarplum ink through it on a scrap of Whisper White to adhere under the Shimmery White top layer.

Stampin_up_window_shopping_carolpaynestamps5

I cut the ends of the Sweet Sugarplum 3/4" x 3 3/4" strip into banner points with my snips.

Almost as an afterthought I added a Sweet Sugarplum and Old Olive Enamel Shape.

Stampin’ Up! High Tide Calendar!

Stampin’ Up! High Tide Calendar!

Hey there! Tonight is the first night of my "Chicks & Chocolate" Open House! I still have some things on my "to do" list, so I'll try to keep this short!

My project today is the stand-up calendar I created for my "Early Bird" RSVP gift. I used High Tide with the Woodgrain folder to create my gift inspired by a design by Billie Moan:

Stampin_up_high_tide_calendar_carolpaynestamps1

I used a traditionally nautical color combo of Dapper Denim, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla, sponging the raised Woodgrain design with Crumb Cake as well as the edges oft the tag.

Stampin_up_high_tide_calendar_carolpaynestamps2

I tied Very Vanilla Thick Baker's twine in nautical-inspired knots to finish to top of the tag!

Stampin_up_high_tide_calendar_carolpaynestamps3

The stand-up easel is stabilized with the folded addition between the front and back.

Stampin_up_high_tide_calendar_carolpaynestamps4

The back side has a pocket that fits a 3" x 3" Post-It Note pad perfectly!

Stampin_up_high_tide_carolpaynestamps5

If you are one of the first 20 people to have RSVP'd for Chicks & Chocolate, you now know what your gift looks like!

To create your own High Tide card or calendar, order the supplies from my online store: http://bit.ly/shopwithCarolPayneStamps

Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop February Color Challenge

I used the Birthday Blast Bundle from page 11 of the Occasions Catalog.  My  "Chicks & Chocolate" stampers will make this card this weekend!

Stampin_up_birthday_blast_carolpaynestamps1

This was a fun and easy card to make!

Stampin_up_birthday_blast_carolpaynestamps3

I inked the "celebrate you" stamp first with Versamark, then with Night of Navy. After stamping I sprinkled with clear powder and heated with my Heat Tool.

Stampin_up_birthday_blast_carolpaynestamps4

I made the whole card exclusively with Birthday Blast!

Stampin_up_birthday_blast_carolpaynestamps5

Stampingrox  Project Tips!

1. I cut a piece of scrap paper the same size as the Mint Macaron layer to use as my guide to stamp the star blast image.

Stampin_up_birthday_blast_carolpaynestamps6

2. I only needed a small strip of Watermelon Wonder card stock to attach to the back of the Mint Macaron layer, so I laid my die about a 1/2" from the cardstock edge:

Stampin’ Up! Everyday Hero for Cohen!

Stampin’ Up! Everyday Hero for Cohen!

Hey there! I create a special birthday card for each family member. Cohen turned 9 on the 7th, but I waited until after his party to share his card, created with Everyday Hero and Super Duper:

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps1

This card has lots of fancy-cutting with Paper Snips, but I think it was worth it!

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps3

I wanted to keep the comic-strip look of Everyday Hero, which combined so well with Super Duper!

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps4

I couldn't resist having the super-hero bring a couple of Super Duper balloons with him!

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps7

I colored him with markers, then very lightly colored his face with a Melon Mambo Watercolor Pencil and smoothed with a Blender Pen. His cape is attached with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps5

Real Red and Pacific Point Stampin' Write Markers helped achieve the look I wanted on the greetings.

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps6

I continued the theme for the cards I made for the uncles to give him.

Stampin_up_everyday_hero_carolpaynestamps8

The inside sentiment is from Big on Birthdays, also found in the Occasions catalog.
