Stampin’ Up! Lovely Amazing You!

Hey there! Happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying the long Easter weekend. I'm getting ready for the whole family to be here tomorrow. We will all be at church, then dinner together here, followed by our annual family Easter Egg hunt. It's one of my favorite days of the year!

Today's card is another one from my Birthday Card Buffet next Friday and Saturday. This is number six of the eight cards we will be making. You can view more of the cards: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.

This card highlights the Lovely Amazing You set, Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack, Ornate Tag Topper Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (heart), and the Starburst Framelits.

Inside we will be stamping with Feel Goods and Endless Birthday Wishes. I'm not usually a big fan of yellow, but when you pair Daffodil Delight with Basic Black and Whisper White with a little dash of Silver Glimmer thrown in, I'm sold!

The bottom of the inside layer and the envelope is also stamped with one of the images from the Bordering Blooms set.

Stampin’ Up! April Online Class Projects!

Stampin’ Up! Petal Potpourri!

Hey there! I played around today with a new (to me) layout, and used the Petal Potpourri Bundle to create this:

This card is very different from what I had in mind when I started, but I really like how it turned out!

I started with a Naturals White card base, layered with Blackberry Bliss. I added sections of Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum stamped with Blackberry Bliss and one of the Petal Potpourri blooms. After heat embossing another bloom with white powder on the vellum layers I attached them to the Wisteria Wonder sections with glue dots.

A wrap of Whisper White 5/8" Organza Ribbon anchors the Wisteria Wonder and Vellum-white embossed blooms, punched with the Flower Medallion Punch. The Petal Potpourri set and the Flower Medallion Punch are bundled to save 15% when you buy them together. I finished the bloom with a Something Borrowed Embellishment, also from the Occasions Catalog.

A greeting from Four You, stamped and cut out with the banner die from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets lets the card front "speak".

Inside I continued with Blackberry Bliss-inked blooms and a sentiment from the tried-and-true, Remembering Your Birthday.

I really like the possibilities with this layout and hope to do more with it in the near future. This card is going to be a selection at my next Birthday Card Buffet on April 10 & 11!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals!

Hey there! We had a good day yesterday. It rained on us the whole day, but most of the time it was just a heavy sprinkle. We had a good day anyway, because it's always fun just being together!

Since today is still such a gray, dreary day, I decided to feature ideas from the display boards at Leadership of the Painted Petals stamp set and Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper.

First, a cute little set of 3" x 3" notecards in Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Whisper White and touches of gold:

Next, a Mini Treat Treat Bag created with the thinlet die and embossed with the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Folder:

These samples combine the Painted Petals set with the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, Hello Life stamp set, and Hello You Thinlets Dies:

I love the sentiment from the Mother's Love set used on the card on the right, and the 2 1/2" Circle-punched window for the greeting on the left:

Finally, an elegant impressionistic look on watercolor paper:

And I love the Spring Flowers embossing on the envelope flap and the stamped-and-punched "seal"!
