Stampin’ Up! Indescribable Happy Birthdayt!

Hey there! Today is the "Stamped With His Image" stamping class! yay!

As promised, here's the card we will be making in addition to the journal I showed you yesterday:

We will be coloring the flower-embossed Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper with Pool Party ink and a brayer. If this card looks familiar, it's because it is a CASE/twist of the card I showed you a few days ago HERE!

After heat embossing the image from Indescribable Gift with white powder, we will add color and depth to the layer using Pool Party ink and a Stampin' Sponge.

We are using a greeting from the Bloom with Hope Hostess set, which is only available to hostesses and only available through June 2nd!

We will be finishing off the greeting with a bow tied with ribbon from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack, adhered with a glue dot.

Inside we will be stamping more images from Bloom With Hope using Pool Party ink, and using the Envelope Liner Thinlets Die to cut the Coastal Cabana Designer Paper  to "fancy-up" the inside of the envelope flap!

That about sums up all of the projects for today's class. If you want to purchase the supplies to make this card, or any other paper crafting projects you have in mind, just click on this link to go to my online store: http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/carolpayne/

Stampin’ Up! Blended Bloom in Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie!

Stampin’ Up! Blended Bloom in Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie!

Hey there! I'm back again with another Blended Bloom card with the Emboss Resist technique again. I used sponge daubers again just like I did with yesterday's card, but this time I used Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangerine Tango:

Stampin_up_blended_bloom_4 - Copy
I added a bit of Early Espresso to the centers of both flowers to give them more definition. This card is a more direct CASE of one by Brenda Keenan, although instead of cutting out leaves I embossed Old Olive cardstock with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Folder and then sponged the raised areas with more Old Olive ink. I think this gives a foliage-background-look, don't you think?

The greeting is from the Bloom with Hope Hostess set, punched with the Modern Label punch.

Stampin_up_blended_bloom_5 - Copy

Inside I stamped with more Bloom with Hope images, using the "Rock and Roll" technique to get both Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo ink on the blooms.

That's all for now! Here's the supply list for today. Click HERE for my Online Store:
